GuineaPig’s Training Log - Hunt 300 Deadlift

por qué no los dos?

Chill sesh today in the pocket. Top single at 240kg with me belt. Belt felt alright at least it didn’t get in the way.

Some deficits pulls for volume also 4x8 at 170kg. 2nd time ever doing em so went conservative. Still better than the hard 170kg for a few I did earlier in the year so starting off relatively PBish. Plenty of room to build.

Definitely makes for tougher positioning in terms of back angle and leverage. Extends ROM by a solid 20% so enough to get a stimulus and do work but not too far from sumo. Still feels like a sumo pull just harder. The constant tension is also quite a different stimulus from my usual dropping. This right @Pinkylifting?

More than enough deficit there.

Time to reverse me negative quad gains. I think I can set up a makeshift belt squat and pump out the work. Hopefully goes well.

Do you not have access to a landmine attachment?

A corner that you don’t mind getting slightly scuffed also works.

@T3hPwnisher log has a pretty good set up, might have to scroll up a fair bit because it’s been a few weeks so he’ll have 52000 sessions since then.

Most stuff is sold out rn. There’s a landmine that attaches to the rack but is pre-order for TBC.

Really? I don’t think those landmine attachments that fit inside a plate or two are in that high of demand.

Ye most things are low stock down under. Something about being a big as island far away from China.

Easy to make too

I’ll think I’ll save myself the trouble and buy a full belt squat machine. How expensi could it be

Go big or go home?

Try some curtsey lunges for quads.

On marketplace in Melbourne for $90 cheaper than a machine. Spend the money saved on more tights

I’ve been watching the Bendigo and surrounds listings mostly

I find lunge-y variations to hit my glutes mostly

You can still send stuff via Aus post yes. You’d have to agree postage with the seller but post office are open.
