Have tried out another guys inzer before and then last week had a try of an SBD Belt which was like a whole different level even above the inzer.
So pretty underwhelmed by this belt from Loaded Lifting that arrived today but I guess you gotta start somewhere
Protip: Print out the SBD logo and glue it onto your belt.

Iron Revolution today. Warm enough that I regret wearing pants but guess I just gotta sweat it out. First time lifting at IR on a Monday because my mate had a last minute change of plan and was working out late. Monday crowd is still a good crowd though.
Squat
120kg x 10,10,8,4 Rep PR
Squats feeling slow and got 4 sets of high-ish Rep sets to do *sadface
Been a while since I repped 120kg but this is a beltless sleeveless Rep PR. Followed up with some belt practice with the new belt and squats feel easier but feels like there’s going to be some fainting action by the end of the set.
And… quads are fried. Knees are shaking, can’t feel my quads and shit so even though I could’ve got a few more reps I bitched out.
Sumo might not go so well today
Bench
85kg x 4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4
Lots of sets pause bench 4s. Low reps is best reps. Volume PR I think.
Thought that sets of 4 would be ez. Rest 10 seconds and go again finish in barely anytime at all sorta thing. Harder than expected
Dips
BW+15kg for lols
OHP
40kg x 8,8,8,8
Increased reps on OHP, cruising and sandbagging. Don’t remember my exact lifetime rep PR at 40kg but think it’s 12… maybe. Am honestly enjoying OHP (nek minute joins strength lifting cult).
Plan is to keep adding reps/sets, get rep PRs and sandbag for a few months worth of gains.
Sumo Deadlift
190kg x 5 Rep PR
One set today because Monday is usually shit DL day. More sets conventional to make up. Was actually intimidated by the bar going into the set #BetaPig. Was expecting some grindy round back action. Ended up being slow and grindy but clean enough. Are my rep PRs starting to dry up? Nooooooo
Did some belted reps warming up and after the 190x5. Dont really feel a difference belt vs beltless… yet? Or am I doing this wrong
Conventional
170kg x 5,5,5 Rep PR
Back roundy kind of weight now but rep PRs. Reps felt worse than they looked. Back soreness rounding coming on took a long rest with the gym chatter but it did fuck all and ended up rounding out like I haven’t in months. RIP back
Some Flyes, Pull Ups, Dips and Rows to finish things off. Ran out of time for curls and shoulder raises so will do at home. Paid for the next few sessions in advance and back home to chill.
New belt is kind of stiff so how long does it take to loosen up?
I guess lifting half-naked would help in getting the gym all for yourself but then again, squats and deadlifts would become much scarier
My belt is still stiff after four years, but it’s a really cheap one
