Growth Surge vs. East European BB

Hi guyz,

Which program would u guys recommend for size if u had the time to train twice a day , the Growth Surge Project or East European Bodybuilding program? especialy if your using MAG-10??

Growth Surge, it’s been designed to go with MAG-10.

thanx thrasher…
anyone else??
what if i’m only on maintenance calories, is there a chance of overtraining with the Growth Surge program?? even by using MAG-10??

The Growth Surge worked well for me a few months back however my caloric intake was above maintinance, I was trying to pack some weight on. I am trying the East European right now(week1) and I am below maintinance calories so I will let you know how it goes. Growth Surge article explains that it is intended to be used with above maintinence calories but try it and record the food log and training and see how you feel.

Why would you use MAG-10 with only maintenance calories?

thanx alot mike .
i would love to know what happens with you on the EU program…

hi joe,
actually i’m going to use MAG-10 only on maintenance or slightly above because i don’t want to get any much fatter, i’ve been cutting down recently, lost alot of wt,but still have to lose some more.
and i have to use MAG-10 before it expires on my shelf :frowning:

It’s up to you but why waste MAG-10 on cutting or maintaining? If you eat right while you take MAG-10 you can stuff yourself and it will turn to muscle.

I’d recommend using Dr.Squat’s ABC routine. If you can train twice a day, its a insane workout:

Although this is a modified version of the original ABC program, it looks just as good

thanxxx,
but just like i said before, i am very much concered about fat gain, and MAG-10 expiry date is very near,so i won’t be able to up the calories that much in a short period of time.
those to weeks i’ll be training in will be the only 2wks off work i will have before summer;)

I’ve put my MAG-10 in the deep freeze to keep it past it’s due date. If you have more, you should consider that, and use it at a more appropriate time.

even with a large disposable income I wouldn’t reconmend wasting your MAG-10 on a maintenance diet. Not like you can just pick up some more a little later on anymore anyways. Like it’s been said use the freezer, I’ve had sucess doing that.

Don’t be so hung up on keeping really low body fat levels, you can always lose excess fat later. Gaining muscle is much harder.

thanx guys for the great suggestions and info. , i will definitely take them into consideration.
as for the deep freeze thing i didn’t really know about.
i guess my mag is going up the fridge for some time.
thanx alot again…;))
but how long past it’s due date can i keep it?? coz it expires in june!!

thanx DJR,
i’m 100% with u, but i had a really hard time losing fat, that is why i’m a bit concerned about gaining fat back.
