I used Grow! when it originally came out in bottles. Tasted great as advertised and worked well. I’ve used 1 box of packets and have a question… what the hell is really in this stuff? I’ve made no other changes to diet/training and I’ve gained 12lbs in the past 30 days!! Do Grow packets contain a little “extra” ingredient? Anyone else experience better results with the packets??
I believe there have been some very minor changes in the vitamin/mineral content of Grow!, basically to make it even more healthy. Still, this shouldn’t cause any unexpected muscle gains. Maybe you’d been overtraining before? Or maybe you just hit a growth spurt? (We don’t gain muscle continually, of course, I think it tends to come in bursts.) Or maybe you’d been stressed before or not getting as much sleep as you do now?
BTW, we’ve received several e-mails from readers saying that Grow! in packets tastes better then Grow! in bottles. It’s subtle, but I think they’re right.
Ken, maybe with the packets, you’re getting the “full dose.” Often when I have the choice of making a small batch, then I’ll downsize the portion. With a packet, a lot of time you mix up more than you planned, then you have to force yourself to finish it. Therefore, you may be simply ingesting more quality proteins.
