Hey, Didnt know where to post this, so figured id try here.
recently moved into VA for work, and my current roommates don’t really understand why I “like to lift weights off the ground” (deadlift) or “need to be so anal” (keep a log), so naturally, im going a little crazy trying to deal with working out around them.
Not to be lame and use January as a starting point for this like 90% of the country, but I’m hoping to start a log on the forums here to keep me in check and more specifically seeing if anyone wanted to jump in on it, a group log almost to set some challenges/motivation and keep me sane.
Basic Stats : 22y/o male, 175-180lbs, 5’10", Bf ~ 15% (obviously not where I want it to be).
My last year I had a few problems that kept me from training seriously, and my diet is whats really held me back.
The goal is to drop some fat gradually (next 2-3 months probably) before trying to add on some muscle (dont think the GF would appreciate me going straight to bulking right now).
Sorry if this is a little gay, it’d just be nice to be checking in with people who arent suggesting I try cardio kickboxing classes(not that im knocking on them) and telling me that higher reps will help me get toned.
