We are focusing on my hamstrings, back width, and getting rid of the fat.

Good luck man. You have some serious pipes. Definitely a huge strong point.

Good luck and thanks for entering the BODYBUILDING division!

Looking thick (good thick), and I predict good thins for an 18 week prep.

How tall are you? I got the impression you were ~6’, the cals just seem a little low…

Good luck, I’ll be following!

@gregron thanks man. I trained triceps a lot for pole vaulting and as we all know big triceps = big arms.

@myosin thanks for the support. look forward to have you following along.

@lemony2j I am 5’ 8.5" tall. For the past 6 months I had been doing 3000 cals w/ most of it coming from protein. My coach wanted me to drop protein and increase my carbs and see how I do with it. Every 10 days I get a day were I go up to 440 carbs @ about 3000 calories.

@RATTLEHEAD glad to have you along.

In on this, looking forward to following along

Logged in, definitely good to see so many contest prep threads going now.

^ My thoughts exactly! Best of luck brother.

I’ll definitely follow. Good luck.

Good luck man! Definitely a good base of size, arms especially are a strength to echo Greg. I’m not real familiar with RJ Perkins, but the role he had in Paulie’s transformation speaks for itself, so I’d imagine you’re in good hands!

Yep I’m in for the ride as well Grizzly. And as others have said I’m loving these contest threads as well.

Thanks everyone. Glad to have my tnation brothers behind me on this one.

@pwolves I was not very familiar with him either but after talking with him and the fact that he is only 40 mintues down the road from me really affected my decision to use him. Since we are close I will get to practice posing with him 1-2 times a month and he was already going to be at my show. Just made me feel more comfortable about doing my first show with someone who will physically be there.

My workout yesterday was one of the most brutal I have ever been through. Will post it when I get some time.

Having someone there you know and trust is a huge relief first time around.

Best of luck brother. Will be following.
