Greatest Video Ever

What’s your point?

I do think you’re a bit of a poser though. You are trying to copy the guys from diesel crew, because you wear the exact outfit they do when they lift in their videos. What’s the point of this? Come up with your own “look”.

I’m a poser because I wear a long sleeve shirt like many other people, not just the Diesel Crew? That’s silly.

Your grip strength is no joke, I’ll give you that. If you were ever to get your shit together and listen to those who are tryin to help you, with your passion and drive you’d be a fuckin animal.
As it is everything besides your grip is severly lacking. Drop the weights, get your technique down, add only when it’s right not just when you can and LISTEN to those who know more than you and you’ll be alright.

Saw them live in San Diego they where awesome…I still think they should have kept their original name.

It’s as silly as calling someone a poser because they haven’t competed in (and lost) a strongman competition like you have.

That was in response to the guy who was calling me a poser because I train outside for farmer’s walks.

Lost? I tied for 3rd place. That’s not bad for my first time competing. Anyway, regardless of the outcome, at least I have the guts to compete, unlike the majority of people who post here and elsewhere. Most people on these strength boards are armchair experts and keyboard warriors.

whoa, whoa, buddy. how many of us have told you that you need to lift with people who’re stronger than you? how many of us are stronger than you and have told you that you would be best suited if you changed some things?

you can call some of us armchair lifters as much as you like, but it doesn’t deny the fact that you’re ignoring reality and that many of us who’ve told you how it is make you look small and weak.

How many people were competing??

And you’re the real deal because you competed in strongman once and tied for third place? What about prior to that competition? Putting 8,000 videos of your lifts online somehow grants you a writ of superiority?

v. Lost - To fail to win; fail in: lost the game; lost the court case.

Third place is losing. They don’t give out awards for “not bad.” You lost.

Do yourself a favor and feel free to lose the attitude. There’s nothing special about you. There are millions of other guys in the world just as strong, but performing the lifts with much better form.

Hey DW, this is the official IPA powerlifting website:

http://www.ipapower.com/Enter.htm

Look for their next meet, where Tim Harold Jr. (whom you threatened to beat up) and many other powerlifters from westside and metal militia will be competing.

If you are game I’m sure a lot of readers on this website will love to donate some money for your travelling and entry fees.

Don’t disappoint your fans world wide. I’m sure your lifting will have its fans and Louie Simmons may even learn a couple of things from you.

The only condition is that you have to have all your lifts video taped.

Sounds good?

Fahd

When did I ever claim to be “the real deal” or anything like that?

No thanks. I’ll stick with strongman competition.

normally i always root for the underdog, but your attempt to press a 2’axle bar while cleaning a kettlebell simultaneously is downright suicidal, what the hell were you trying to accomplish by doing that? What you need to understand is that if you improve your form, you should be able to handle more weight!

That lift is called a two-hands anyhow.

Actually, Gary kind of does at his shows. He gives awards down to 5th place in most categories.

I competed fall 04 and took 4th in my class (I should have taken 2nd, fucked myself over using ammonia for the first time on the log. Live and learn). Couldn’t believe it when my name was called for a trophy, I didn’t deserve one.

Hey DW - are you sure the show this spring is supposed to be in April? That’d make my day, I could actually go compete - last year it was held in mid March though, wasn’t it?

-Dan

Hey DW, what are your stats now?

These videos are pure gold. Have you considered America’s Funniest Videos?

You can’t be serious with this stuff. I know you are pretty strong for your size, but these vids are funny as hell.

I’m pretty sure it was in April, last year and I believe it’s going to be in April this year too. I still haven’t emailed Gary Udit regarding the specifics though.

Why did you say that I was going to “die or at least get seriously hurt?” there? Were you threatening my life because of my poor lifting form?

i don’t care what that lift is called, either it wasn’t done right, or you will get an injury doing that, i saw the video and you almost broke your neck and dislocated your shoulder doing that lift.

My point is exactly that, he’s listening to lamb of God. I’m not allowed to speak my mind?

Diesel, the deadlift, more power to you at attempting the lift like you did, but why do much weight, you obviously can’t handle. Not a dig here, don’t want to here you hurt your back and you can’t progress you obvious interest in old timer lifts.

Why exactly do you struggle with these weights and not drop the weigth and use perfect form. You are not doing yourself any favours. I’m not some internet strongman hiding behind a monitor, I’m just intrigued at the logic, but I admire your guile with these weights though.
