Greatest Video Ever

Why exactly do you wear knee pads during squats ?
Aren’t they for like, falling on you knees.

No, they are similar in function to knee sleeves; they keep the joints warm.

DW,

Please explain why you dont drop the weight a little to something you can handle and use good form?

That’s not always true. I did training with 180lbs in each hand (contest weight), the farmer’s walk session before the one in the new video. I got a one second PR that time, 31 seconds. Here is the video:

LMFAO at you doing these in the street! What a poser. Your neighbours must think you’re a complete dick. You sure take yourself seriously.

Impressive achievements indeed! Is the DW natural? If so where is the proof?

Also, which supplements do you use to achieve such a high level of strength and muscular development?

You are like a weak and ugly version of Ed Coan who uses shitty form. Congradulations I guess.

Fahd

WOOHOO! The deez is back!

You’re gonna have to work hard this time to entertain us, because you’ll be up against the likes of Elite_Balla3 & Fat T Man. Good Luck

No, that is dead wrong. He does not even deserve to be compared to a weak and ugly version of Ed Coan.

Guys, his form was a little off, but you can’t deny his strength. To be honest, I don’t think he’s weak at all.

DW, see, even some of the strongest people in the world had to drop the weight by alot to fix their form. Okay, I was a bit harsh on you, sorry, and
I haven’t been lifting as long as you
neither. I’m majoring in pre-med in college right now, and I know that people who have bad habits (at a young age) usually don’t feel anything until their much older. You placed 2nd or 3rd in a Strongman contest, which is amazing. But go back to 400 pounds on the deadlift, and do it right. Okay, so the lifts counted for strongman, but the risk is still there.

No, I actually pinned him in the video.

Your ignorance is astounding. You obviously know nothing pertaining to armwrestling.

  1. They’re called fouls, not faults.
  2. You -are- allowed to have one foot off of the ground during the match, so that would -not- be a foul.[/quote]

No, your ignorance is astounding. Not everyone cares about you to the degree which you obviously fancy yourself.

I have never have, nor will I ever armwrestle so you are right there. I know nothing pertaining to it, although after watching your video 3-4 times through it sure looked to me like that little asian dude almost pinned you. Maybe I need a higher resolution monitor. And I think a “foul” and a “fault” are pretty similar in terms of meaning for the non-armwrestler. Sorry.

You will forgive me if this is my last post directed towards you as I have seen from many months of your posts on various forums that arguing with you is about as intellectually stimulating and self-satisfying as trying to give myself an indian burn.

What his neighbours think about him, isn’t really your problem is it? When my buddies and I work out, we often flip a 1000lbs (480kg) tire around. People around here (in Norway) think that is kind of strange to. Do you suggest that just because DW and I are stronger than the avarage guy, we should hide out in som dark and cold cellar when working out? And about that lame posing comment, have you never flexed your biceps in puplic or at a party?

When I first saw DW’s videos I laughed, I’ll admitt to that. But seriously, his only real problem is keeping his back straight. In the deadlift video I saw he didn’t keep it straight. Whether he’s shallow or not, he give everything he have on those lifts. I seriously doubt that all of you who’s talking trash have det same passion for lifting weights and other odd stuff. Usually people like you are some neglected, pimple faced wannabe, who is never going to be.

Dw, if you read this; Good luck. But don’t let your ego get the best of you when deadlifting. Check it at the door. Then you’ll be just fine. PS: I like your neighbourhood, it seems quiet and safe.

Poser? I’m not the loser hiding behind a computer monitor, like yourself. I actually compete in strongman contests, like the 2005 Strongest Man in Pennsylvania in October 2005 and the 2006 Strongest Man in Pittsburgh in April 2006.

That “little asian dude” is actually one of the best NYC armwrestlers in his weight class.

DW,

You add fuel to the fire even on thi sboard. I give you prop for competing and the strength that you have. But I guarantee that if you stopped replyig to these threads, they would just go away. Everyone around the internet world keeps telling you the same thing, your form just needs a littl work and you will be in great shape. 100s of people looking at your video cannot be wrong. I mean even Jim Wendler from elitefts has acknwoledged you.

I’ll say this only once, because I hate dealing with people’s egos. Your 375 squat is high. Very high. At least 6" high, unless your legs are 2" thick. Parallel is measured from the TOP of the hip joint (crease of the leg) to the TOP of the knee. Not the bottom. In any PL federation. And by any Olympic weightlifting coaching standard the squat’s at least a foot high.

If you don’t care about PL legal lifts, fine. If you’re just strengthening your quads, fine. Just be sure to qualify your next squat video with the statement “this squat is above parallel and I don’t care, because I"m not going for a legal depth squat.”

I will say three things for you, you do compete in strongman comps, you do have a strong grip, and you do bust your balls on your lifts. Just don’t bust your knees, groin, hamstring, spinal erectors, or vertebrae. You’d do better to get better form for all your lifts, as it would actually make you stronger in the long term.

This IS the best video ever, even better than the Weas, and that’s tough to top. Friggin hilarious!

I agree. Part of my brain is pulling for him because at least he’s trying to do real lifts and doesn’t spend all his time doing 10 different biceps curls to hit the muscle “from every angle.” And if someone taught the kid some technique he could have potential. That 145x5 “push press” had no explosiveness at all - he was muscling those up.

On the other hand, if the kid ever did learn proper technique, we would not have this hilarious series of videos to enjoy.

Weez, if you’re still around, I just looked at your clean technique. You’re basically doing a cheat upright row from the floor. No separation between the 1st and 2nd pull; it’s just one pull from the floor.

I wish the Weasal lived in my neighborhood.

He’s got some cool equipment and although I don’t care for his form, his intensity would motivate the hell out of me.

Keep up the good work Wease but please man if those videos are an example of your form on training lifts you gotta step back and clean it up a bit before you blow something out that can’t be fixed and your lifting career is over.

Keep up the good work you FREAK!

That guy is listening to Lamb of God while he lifts.

Diesel Weasel, I have viewed your video clips for some time now and I’d like to say a few things.

First of all, your passion for grip strength is excellent. Most people look at some of that stuff and say, “Haha, I could do that.” or, “What the hell is the point of that?” Well, they suck.

I do think you’re a bit of a poser though. You are trying to copy the guys from diesel crew, because you wear the exact outfit they do when they lift in their videos. What’s the point of this? Come up with your own “look”.

I really think your deadlift form could use some serious work. But I know that your ego just won’t listen to anyone. Get yourself a strength coach or something, so you can find out how incomplete you really are.

The cleans need a shitload of work, dude. You need to jump, shrug your shoulders explosively, and get under the bar. You should not use your arms at ALL, nor your lower back directly.
