Gonna have to go with Flex Wheeler. Perfect right there. Franco is up there too.
Brian Buchanan anyone? His waist was insane, one of my favorites.

Thinking about this thread, I asked two random colleagues (aged in their 30’s) today to name a current professional bodybuilder.
Nothing.
Said name any body builder.
“Arnold” and “Arnold Swartzennegger”
Name another:
“The Hulk” and “Lou Ferrigno”.
LOL.
If bodybuilding was projected onto the masses of the population and marketed like most other sports, youd get people from the polictically correct crowd, and so called goverment health experts interfering. Saying theyre portraying a bad, and unhealthy message to children. Condemning steriods, hgh, and any other form of bb supps, making ill advised remarks.
For me its better this way, those who are genuinly interested get what they want, without the need to condone body building to the everyday person.
Take a look at the below image of former english glamour model Jodie Marsh. For the average person they refuse to believe she could have transformed her physique naturally and must be on “tonnes of roids”.
You have a point but why would you use that example? Chick looks like she just dyed her hair and got more work done…

He was referring to this
The reaction has been unanimously negative in the British media. Unjustly.
^ Yep, I see now. This comment is spot on:
I think a lot of you are missing the point. What Jodie has done is create a physique that is appropriate to her chosen sport. Like the look or not, muscle tone and symmetry are the key to success and the tan is a necessary part of showing off your hard work under harsh stage lights. Well done Jodie, not many understand the commitment required to obtain this condition. Constructive criticism… bring those legs in harder and more defined to match your sharp upper body!

i maybe biased as i admire Dorian the most but this is truly awesome!
Dorian was awesome but his arms just look small to me compared to other BBers and even his own body.

He was smart too (claiming he spoke five different languages at one point). He also was pretty grim. One other thing…if any one bodybuilder showed the effects of GH more than others…it was him. That dude had pics in the early 90’s that didn’t even look like the same person by the end of the decade…and I don’t mean just muscle. His face changed drastically around the time he started wearing glasses.
I also didn’t remember his lazy eye until the late 90’s.

I watched a Nasser training video once, but I found him so morose that I had to turn it off. Had to watch some Ronnie Coleman and Branch Warren to recover. lol

Not as in to the bodybuilding scene as most here, but I personally think Levrone has the best overall physique. He looked like a comic book character. And, he was as strong as he looked.
x2 …Levrone never got his due!
I have a strong opinion on this. If we are to use what I think the modern standards of bodybuilding are, that is (to over simplify) more muscle and less fat is better, provided you maintain good symmetry, then I think Ronnie Coleman is our winner. I think that as bodybuilding has evolved over the years, each new generation got bigger, harder, and leaner. You can see the progression from Arnie to Haney to Yates to Coleman. Coleman has simply accomplished more with his physique than his predecessors. To argue that he isn;t as good is like arguing that Jesse Owens or Carl Lewis were better sprinters because they had prettier form.
Having said that, in a perfect world where I got to be the sole judge, I think Arnie had the perfect body. To me, that is the ideal physique. He had a ton of muscle, but not too much, was very symmetrical and balanced, and was very lean, but not too lean. I personally wouldn;t mind looking like Arnie. The modern bodybuilders, though I respect what they have accomplished, are just too lean and too muscular for my taste.

Since i started paying more attention to the competitive side of bodybuilding , Kevin Levrone has really caught my eye . He looks so powerful smooth(BIG NO HOMO here LOL)
