Goodbye Victoria's Secret Angels

I get it. I don’t value physical attraction as much as most ppl.

I guess what I was getting at was that nice glutes look nice AND muscular, perky glutes are a signal of work ethic sort of like a two for one signal

But work ethic is partly genetic.

Man, the forum is difficult lately.

I definitely didn’t say that… so I hope you weren’t suggesting that I did.

I think he was responding to my post

could be, the phrasing was a little ambiguous as to what he was trying to convey there.

I was replying to Anna (forums are a bit weird). I do think it is somewhat genetic though. Not completely, like bicep genetics, but a component.

You were saying circumstance plays a big role of I read your post correct. I think that is true as well.

… context matters…

maybe? probably? If so, not sure if I won the genetic lottery LOL

A lot of things are partly genetic that many people don’t think of as genetic traits. How happy a person is in average had a genetic component to it even. Certainly not the whole picture, but a component.

Just responding to the original title here…I’m 100% in agreement. I only go on the Pharma section until I saw this title. I’m not happy about posting anything but my current cycle but this bothers me haha. This isn’t woke this is brand suicide. I won’t buy my lady anything else there. I liked that it was sexy, very feminine, that’s what I’m attracted to so the brand worked for me. If this new direction was what I was into I’d buy her boxers at Sears.

They might have something for you now though.

Agree on the brand suicide. It was like Gillette’s toxic masculinity campaign. All of their customers are men, attacking men is probably not a wise move.

I’d look sexy as hell in a pair of lace boy shorts , I probably have a rounder ass than Rapinoe lol. #dontskiplegday

Yeah, Rapinoe is an odd choice. Some of those Slavic / Russian tennis players would have been much better. Maybe better than the current models IMO.

So are they just going to sell baggy, shapeless onesies with JUICY on the backside?

Yep.

Think Ana Kournikova. (I THINK she maybe won one major)?

But she was a marketing phenomenon and a boom for any product she chose to endorse. At one point, Anna was pulling in more money than some of the ones at the top of the Sport.

I think you all have brought up an important point;

Who is VS trying to appeal to exactly?

Yeah, most people are going to see a commercial with an attractive woman and want the product more so on average than a less attractive woman who is more accomplished in the sport. Sex still sells.

Lesbians?

If it were me, I would try to make the models reflect what on average is the most attractive.

I would think lesbians would appreciate beautiful women too.
But, what do I know?

Certainly true for some. I think some prefer masculine women, but I am out of my league in this area.
