Hahaha!

Seriously, OP, do weighted dips then drop the weight and do rep out again.

dips and close grip bench

Tri Extensions with one dumbell. These are KEY!!! Use an incline bench and lean back. Try not to use shoulders like a pull over and alternate top hand each set. Also close grip bench and weighted dips.

Or better yet, kick backs with bands and chains.:stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, what Rockman said.

Some other good one’s are:
PJR pullovers
Floor Extensions
Floor press
Rack lockouts (can be done at multiple inclines)

Closegrip bench.

closegrip bench
dips

Skull-crushers

Any overhead extension gets the long head very well. Most pressing movements neglect the long head of the triceps, but are good for the lateral and medial.

For anyone not familiar with these;

Nothing makes the long head of my triceps sore like these do.

Geez, how come I’ve never tried that before, sounds like a good idea. Imma try that next time I hit the gym.

SO is it like a regular pullover, but you have a bend in your elbow/arms, rather than keeping them straight (which I guess would hit the lats more)?

Close grip bench
Dips
JM Press
Tate press

when you guys do triceps do you really worry bout which heads your hitting?

Pretty much. Initiate it my bending your elbows and when you are pressing it back up focus on using your triceps.

The heavy pressing movements as someone mentioned don’t hit the long head as much, so for good development I believe it’s important to include something like PJR’s or french presses.

Unless their arms are 18"+, I don’t think they should be bothering to do so.

Elbows-out extensions…holy moly do they light up your triceps. I do em on an incline.
