Good Program for Muscle Mass

I have been lifting for some time now but not a very long time. I have been trying Chad Waterbury’s Total Body Training recently but I feel that it doesn’t focus on building muscle mass that well so I’m looking for something different.

I have looked at Bill Starr’s 5X5 program and it seems good.

However, I was looking for advice on how to better it for me if there is a way.

I am looking to build muscle all over but specifically in my chest, legs and biceps.

I understand about eating a lot so I will be focusing on that as well.

Also a simple question, what exactly is a weighted hyper and how to perform a weighted dip.

I can answer the dip question for ya. You get a dip belt(you can buy decent ones for around $20) and start throwing weight on it, you put it around your waist and perform dips like normal.

You can get a dip belt or just put a db in between your legs.

As for the program, considering that Bill Starr’s 5x5 (assuming you pull your info from Madcow, who specifically states to not modify the program), is already going to put on mass where your want it, I dont see why you’d want to modify it. Course, I’m partial, since I’m doing it.
