good idea ??

Run this idea by y’all. I’m a bit in a lull right now. I guess I did get burned out of bodybuilding in general since I went on that 4 month diet to drop weight,
and right now I’m not really pumped about making great gains. Just kind of working out because I enjoy it. I’m weighting 230 right now at about 12% BF. Only thing I’m really doing diet-wise is eating enough protein, which includes still drinking whey and Grow to get my 220-250g. a day, and making sure I still do my post-workout shake, and still eating semi-healthy. If my BF creeps 1% in any direction, I’ll adjust things accordingly. Which so far has been very easy to do the past few weeks, keeping my BF in check that is. The only thing I’m on now is Myostat. I figure that’s the only supplement I’m going to do right now for a few months. I kind of figure doing things a little above “maintenance”, I should still get some new cell growth from the Myostat, hopefully. So, I think I’m gonna basically chill out, enjoy life and working out for awhile, and not worry so much about BB. So, then, I figure that I should have 4-6 months of Myostat running through my system by the time I get hard at it again consuming plenty of Mag-10, L-glutaminte, creatine, and heards of cattle. (hey biotest ! do you all have discounts if you buy Grow by the dump truck load ??) Do you all think I’ll be inhibiting the myostat with just doing a little above maintenance ???

Well, I know it is said that to benefit most from Myostat you want to keep your body in an anabolic like state, so basically be working to build, yet I have mostly been working to increase a little strength, but mostly get cut and so far after about 4 months of Myostat I have gotten a lot leaner and have much more definition in my upper body. I say go with it for ahwile and like you said in a few months you will have a lot of Myostat in the system and ready to build more muscle.

Good to hear from you buddy! Honestly, I don’t know how to answer your question, but it seems like a reasonable plan as long as the extra cash flow from myostat is not hurting you too bad. It seems like the longer you can stay on Myostat, the better results. I’m about 3 weeks into myostat and can’t say that I’ve noticed much of anything, but I wasn’t expecting to at this short duration.

Yeah, I know I’ll not be in a super anabolic state, but definitely not a catabolic one !!..i think I started the same time with Myostat as you did, Jason, this is my 4th week. Like you said, no change yet but not expecting one. I’m just going to take just that until the end of the year… Teela, what you’ve said makes me a bit less skeptical. I’d be interested on any details you could give me/us with your 4 month myostat experience.

Podge…My results from Myostat have be really incredible. My weakest area has always been upper body and I finally am getting the arms I have always wanted. My triceps are becoming much more noticeable. Lots of people have been commenting that I look leaner and I certainly feel leaner yet my diet has not change and I’m not in a cutting phase either. Lately I have notice huge strenth increases. Weights which I was struggling with about a week ago are suddenly very easy and have been steadily increasing. I’ll keep you posted on anything new!

You might want to let your bodyfat slip a little lower while on the Myostat. It says on the site that people usually expierence a big reduction in bodyfat or something like that. Of course they say it in a much more erudite way than I just did. IMO I don’t think it’d be a big deal to let the bodyfat slip a few % over several months while on the Myostat. But if stuff starts changing dramatically you might want to take some action.
