Myostat Results Thread

I’m in a similar situation as Avoids Roids. I have been taking 2g/day since early July, making that nearly 5 months of use. I have to rate Myostat as favorable. Results/Impact of Myostat: though the visible signs are rather ambiguous to others, I honestly feel that Myostat has increased the growth of my bi’s, tris, and forearms. I have been training for 7 years, with the first four being more powerlifting and the last three traditional BB. The reason I believe the Myostat has sparked new growth in my arms is because (1) greater visible mass when “relaxed;” (2) increased strength in push and pull movements; (3) more definition. Right now I’m 5’11 @ about 10-12%; my bodyfat has been static this whole time. However, I have gained 3-4 pounds since late summer. I believe this is in part to Myostat. Keep in mind that my arms have basically always been my weakest body part and growth in this area never comes quickly. As I mentioned in the other thread though, my training was a bit “off” for about 6 weeks during this period. I tried a homemade total body workout for about 6 weeks. The only result was some muscle loss and overtraining. I have also strictly cleaned (about 4 weeks now) up my diet in an effort to lose some fat for the spring. But these last two variations speak well for Myostat since these two would really make you lose some mass in most situations. That has not been the case though. As I stated, my weight is up but my fat is the same. I don’t know how much I can attribute to Myostat, but I know it has made a difference. Two last thoughts: 1) I think those with low to very low BF levels could provide the most accurate evaluation of Myostat as the gains come very slowly and are subtle to the eye (this is my biggest regret; at about 12%, it’s harder for me to see what’s growing); 2)my only complaint with Myostat is that it’s not a cost-effective supplement for me. I’m a lowly college student with a tight budget and I don’t know if the results are worth 45$ every 20 days right now, at least at this time in MY training and with my priorities. That’s about 820$ a year, correct? Finally, yes, I think Myostat has great potential. It would allow older lifters who are more “maxed” out to reignite their gains. Albeit slowly. (Just to let you know, I’ll hang with the 'stat for till around April)
