I am looking for a good Fish oil cap that isnt rancid when you buy it and works.
sounds stupid but every fish oil cap i can find in the local market seems to be from the same manufacture.
last time i did t-dawg i relied on (local) fish oil caps for a large part of my diet and found i was getting typical effects of a low fat diet (dry skin and hair, joints felt like crap) when i switched to flax oil, i was better.
should i stick to the flax, or assume i had a bad batch of the salmon?
i still have about 400 caps left and they are refrigerated (but were not at the store they were bought from).
Whetu, I’d DEFINITELY go with flaxseed oil if your only option in fish oil is the rancid variety. 25-33% of Omega 3 fatty acids are converted to EPA/DHA if the enzymatic pathways are working correctly.
I like Health from the Sun’s products (liquid and capsule, both). They use a process called molecular distillation to remove mercury, DDT, PCBs and other carcinogens. There are a couple of other manufacturers that use that process, but they are more costly.
I’ve gotten stuff online from iHerb at about $5.50 a bottle. If you bought a bunch of bottles, the cost of shipping shouldn’t be that bad. Heck, retail on the product is about $10 anyway.
thank you sweethart!
