Interesting on the diet dude. Yeah, the pics I have in my profile are only about 5 months apart, I want to get new ones up in here, but waiting till my goal in BF%…

… Our diets are pretty simular, I have just alittle less calories but my protein stays about 250-260 grams a day as well, and I suck down alot of Fishoils and organic PB as I have dropped my carbs alittle as well. I’m trying out an “EDT” workout which seems to help out ALOT as well in cutting BF… Great job with that. :stuck_out_tongue:

yea the EDT stuff is good alright but i only do it for a week or so and go back to heavy low rep work i know it sounds a bit ridiculous but i use it as kinda a deload every 5/6 weeks. cos 5 reps is high for me and seems like im taking a break and lifting light. . cant do it for long before i get impatient and wanna go heavy again!

my diet is a bit unsatisfactory at the mo and there’s a lot of supplements in there and not enough solid food but i find managing calories easier with the supplements in that you know EXACTLY what your taking in. . only in season when i have weight ins . . off season = less supplements . . more fooooood :slight_smile:

Thats cool…we pretty much do the opposite this time around. I’m following EDT right now, since its spring and I dropped the weight off that I had and now just wanna get more lean, and then about the end of August/September, I plan on going back to increasing my calories/Protein and my heavy lifting to gain some more mass during Fall/Winter. I spend ALOT of time at the beach and like to rip-up for the summer.

Its my first time at attempting EDT, so I’m just going by how my body feels and looks…its more like an “intense Cardio” workout for about an hour since I do 3 “pr” zones at 20 minutes each, and I also get some cardio in from Martial arts myself 2-3 times a week for about an hour. Its hard at my age to get lean … at least for me, its slow but working, the hard part is making sure your loosing BF and NOT dropping more weight and loosing muscle mass. Its working for me so far as long as I stay focused and dont get too frustrated that I’m not dropping fast enough for my lack of patients :stuck_out_tongue: Keep us updated as to your diet and work loads, … maybe there is something useful I’ll catch on to keep getting lean overall dude!!

Tell us if you please, what supplements you are on right now??

HOT-ROX Flameout and Metabolic Drive and promax diet bars(low carb whey protein bar)
thats about it!

sometimes viper energy drink (maltodextrin and BCAA’s) if im feeling a bit tired and need a kick in the hole

id suggest lift heavy one week straight sets and EDT next week etc . . .just a suggestion. . your body wont know what to expect haha. .

Yeah, good idea. I’ve found that EDT, (I do 3, 20 minute PR zones), really does a number on me after about 2 weeks. Id rather do the heavy lifting than take an extra day off here and there when the EDT wrecks my body…especially if I’m doing Martial arts training that day on top of my EDT program.

I like the Promax as well, but I love the Protein 32’s alot more, especialy while im watching carbs and fats…they have a great ratio of Protein/Carb/Calories without loading up on too much. Thanks for the suggestion…

Oh…I keep forgetting how things are different in other “parts” of the world LOL … I found that out the hard way when I moved from the US to here in Canada. Alot of the products im use to are NOT even avalible here, including alot of the products sold on this site, and if they are, the US version is WAY more potent.

I was suprised to find pure Ephederine up here in Canada, while its being banned in the States…its crazy,… I cant even find the HOT-ROX anywhere up here for that matter. I usually have to get my family back in the states to “mail” me stuff to get it cheaper!!

pulled 220kg today actually. . chuffed with myself considering im only 72 kg. i was determined to pull 3x bodyweight so after having an easy saet at 190 i just jumped to 220 (think about 480lbs)think i rounded my back a little too much and straightened legs too fast and made the lift TOO hip dominant but got it up none the less tho.

ive been doin a butt load of rack pulls good mornings and stiff leg deadlifts lately to try and increase it cos in fairness its shite compared to my bench and squat. . got a DEXA scan aswell today for free :slight_smile: and im in the highest percentile for bone mineral density and lowest for bodyfat lol . . happy with that. . there’s some useless info for ya

Awesome lifts. You’re lookin’ solid as everyone here has mentioned. Keep up the good work.

As someone else mentioned, its crazy to consider your height/weight/leanness, but then factor in the strength. I’d guess you weigh more like 85-90 kilos (with your strength) than the 72 you do. I pity the fool who picks a fight at the bar with you cuz he doesn’t think you look that big!!

GetSwole - I would urge you to do the same. I would say Ahzaz has a better foundation for building muscle than you do.
