I want some good books to expand my lifting knowlege for strength and hypertrophy, I’ve read “Beyond 5/3/1”, “The Westside Book of Methods”, “Starting Strength” I don’t really read the whole thing I just have breif reads and take away knowlege e.g. Not Maxing out over 4 weeks principles if you will, I wan’t to be able to make good programmes for myself so I will enjoy my sessions more (not that I don’t) I know Louie read a lot of books on the russian styles of training and I love being able to max out.
I own Brian Carroll’s Ten/Twenty/Life. It was as interesting of a read as any other strength training book. I never ran it, but I know a number of accomplished powerlifters who have. One of the top guys from my area is coached by the author.
Thanks a lot I’ll give it a read

Beyond Bodybuilding
5/3/1 Forever
I think I’ll take a look into these two and combine a PL + BB plan thanks a lot!
I think a large majority of programs can fit that description. Any program that has you start the work out with a main, heavy movement and then do a few exercises in the “bodybuilding” 8-12 rep range afterwards as assistance fits the “powerbuilding” shudder template
“Scientific Principles of Strength Training” Dr. Mike Israetel , Dr. James Hoffman, Chad Wesley Smith
You should read them first before you decide that. The titles are misleading.
Total Recall by Ahnuld.
In this day and age where people cry “bodybuilders are successful in spite of what they do”, read the mindset of the man who not only knew exactly what he was doing in the gym, but also how much imput he had in the filming and marketing of his movies and what he did to plot out his career path to become the Governator.
