Gold's Transformation Challenge Jan 8 to April 1

Awesome dude. Got any pics from the show?

Amazing how haters have a way of showing up when impressive accomplishments are made.

Congrats Blake, awesome transformation. I look forward to seeing the pics at the end of summer.

What kind of green tea was it that u drink or does it matter and were did u buy your humapro protein at thx and great Job very inspiring

So this is from this past Sunday. 8 days out from the show I am doing at muscle beach on the 3rd. Can only get harder and dryer. I think I am 6-8% and was hoping for 5ish. Should be around 180 for the show after water depletion. If I place then I Will do the TOC the following saturday.

Looking forward to see how you do, crazy transformation in the last 6 months. Good work, and congrats on the Baby as well

Thanks. We need to train again. Let me know you schedule on the weekends coming up and we should get together either this way or down at metro.

Well I weighed in at 186. While I didn’t place I had fun and learned a lot. Going to decide by the end of the week if I should push through to dec and do the excaliber. I didn’t embarrass myself.

Nice work , just a random side note but in your before pictures you kinda look like Adam richman the guy from man v food

good job dude.

Blake,

In the last picture how big are your arms?

Would you get as heavy as you did, if you knew you’d have to lose 50+ lbs?

looking good man, no homo!

In the last picture they were just under 17inches.
I would probably not take it that far again. That being said I am not advocating staying lean when trying to grow. I have been trying to bring up shoulders and chest since the show and went up to 215, I don’t have abs at the moment. I am hoping to end up at 190 and look leaner then I did for that show. Next show is may 25th, the California. You have to be honest as to weather or not you are making progress sufficient to warrant the fat gain, and it is a fine line still for me to tell if that is the case. I’ll know better after this cut if I look different.

That is good to know. Two hours of cardio in a gym setting is pretty beastly man. I struggle with the overall level of boredom. The changes are worth the suffering.
