Gold's Gym Massage Nightmare

She must have awesome feet.

So Emily, genuinely curious, no sarcasm, could you tell me this: If it happens to be the case that everything happened exactly as she said, what should be her compensation, in your opinion.

I am of the mind that ejaculation could easily have occurred in this manner. He could have his penis between her foot bottoms and his hands, like an oily penis sandwich, and have been purporting massage her feet. He’s possibly even done it to a bunch of women without their noticing, or at least not enough to gather up the courage to actually lift their head out of the face-hole and turn around.

Still, call me old fashioned, I think things like this should remain between the two people it started with, unless there is a clear, malicious connection to other parties. [/quote]

Call me overly modern, but I think the guy should be prosecuted for sexual assault.

You seem pretty grouchy in my direction, particularly given that I acknowledged that I hadn’t been thinking of the suit against Gold’s when I scoffed at a money motive. I’m not sure what I think the outcome should be aside from the criminal piece. What I imagine it WILL be is a $200-300K settlement from Gold’s. Millions of dollars is not, in my opinion, a potential outcome. It’s the cost of doing business for an enterprise like Gold’s, right or wrong. I’m okay with that.

You seem to think this woman turned over, saw the penis, and thought “hmmm, I can milk this situation for a lot of money!” Whereas I think she rolled over, screamed “ewww!” and freaked out in a manner that was not goal-directed at all. And only later got organized around legal issues.

I wonder also about the trainer doing massage. These are very different roles.

Call me overly modern, but I think women in general should be held to a more skeptical eye in society when blaring out these charges seeing as they literally ruin lives whether the charges are true or false.

That is why I would rather they actually PROVE she was such a victim instead of running in with guns blazing on white horses.

Honestly, I think guys are tired of being taken advantage of. Rape is bad. Screaming “sexual assault” because you want that new Prada bag is bad also.

Wait…so the scenario where she blows him, gets pissed because he says he wants her to get an abortion so she makes up these charges is impossible?

You give her a whole lot of credit…based on what?..I mean besides the fact that she is female.

You do know how babies get made, right?

Doesn’t it involve Luther Vandross and Hennessy?

I’m pretty much lost after that.

I’m sure there are other members at this Golds who know the trainer and female client involved and can chime a little input as to whether they know if the two have been mingling prior or if this guy really did do something disgustingly inappropriate.

Btw I’m pretty sure this is the Gold’s Gym just 30 minutes north of me. Maybe I should do some investigating . . .

Then you’re part of the problem.

“sexual assault” as a whole is getting way out of hand.

Just check out this DC metro ad. You can now get arrested for rubbing up on a woman on a busy subway.

If anyone has ever commuted via subway during rush hour, you should KNOW how ridiculous this shit is.

Relating this back to the OP, I sincerely hope the guy gets a fair trial. Without further information it appears as though it’s basically his words against hers.

The fact that she’s also suing Gold’s Gym doesn’t throw up any red flags for me.

  1. The incident occurs

  2. she talks to a lawyer about seeking damages

  3. the lawyer informs her of what she’s able to sue for.

  4. When she finds out there’s a potential for an even larger settlement if she includes Gold’s Gym in the lawsuit, she decides to sue the corporation as well.

Basically she’s still exploiting the system but not to the extent you guys are suggesting. This is all assuming the event actually took place.

I agree. I think she was violated but is certainly taking the ball and running with it.

I do feel sorry for the franchisee, unless he failed to order a background check or ignored a questionable report. Otherwise he is possibly the biggest victim.

LOL.

Ashy, please let us know if your feet get creamed.

Even if you haven’t commuted via subway you can tell how ridiculous it is just by looking at that ad. That’s plain scary. They are using that picture to portray a sexual crime?! The guy is clearly minding his own business and the girl doesn’t really look that bothered, maybe just slightly annoyed by being crowded but in no way blaming the guy. The picture must have been selected by some militant women’s libbers for the purpose of causing trouble. People who would make that ad would have no qualms about throwing an innocent guy in jail just to make a point.

In France, now just looking at a girl or trying to flirt with her can be considered sexual harassment. Some women dress a certain way to get attention and looks from guys, and then they complain about it.

Now with this massage incident, for all we know this guy could be a total creep and weirdo, and deserves to be prosecuted. But he was also her trainer, and has probably spent a good amount of time talking with her/getting to know her, so maybe he for some reason thought she was flirting with him or insinuating something sexual, and he just decided to act upon it.

In today’s world, a woman can make almost any accusation and even without proof, ruin a mans life forever. It all comes down to how the woman feels. If one guy goes up to her in a club, grabs her ass, and he is good looking, she will say “wow he was so confident and just went after what he wanted, he really turned me on.” But if another guy does the same thing, and she finds him unattractive, you know that guy is in some trouble. Maybe with this case, she came on to him at some point, it was mutual, and after the fact she thought it was a little weird so she decided to complain.

If it were truly a case of mutual flirtation and attraction, I would bet we would be hearing about a blowjob or sex, not a sneaky jerk off on her feet while she’s face down on a massage table.

^ and she would be claiming coercion or assault instead.

I bet a video of this would go viral. I really want to see how he pulled that off. I have my pen and pad ready for notes.

Creepy.

Please…this must have been like those commercials where they put a wine glass on the posturepedic mattress and have some woman jump on the bed next to it showing it won’t spill.

The man did a massage in a private room AND pleasured himself to the point of orgasm and the woman knew NOTHING until climax.

I mean…if he didn’t touch himself and he did this with no hands…is it still assault?

I have a massage scheduled at 3:30.

Should I be worried? Or look forward to the settlement?

I think looking forward is the problem.
