Alrighty, I’m back, well I didn’t really go anywhere, still been lifting, walking, smashing it really, just have been slack at logging etc. Have been doing a 5 day split for a while and liking it, heavy for 1 or 2 movements, then light, slow and concentrated for the other fluff, seems to be working. Still at work in the craziness that’s going on around the world.

Ah, DFE (Education Dept.) has given a few ideas etc, however their suggestions are to have kids at home in uniform, have the day structured the same as at school etc and a whole heap of other ridiculous ideas. Talk to any parent who’s working from home and you quickly realise that this isn’t going to work in a Primary situation (High School is different) for all kids as parents don’t know the content, have the skills to teach it, or even care about making their kids do it. Plus many families don’t have enough devices to go around for all of the kids, mum and dad etc if they’re all working from home. It’s a tricky situation. Basically what we will be doing is sending home a pack, with some negotiated curriculum activities for parts of literacy and maths, then they will be required to ā€˜check in’ online for new content and direct instruction if needed as basically we will have 2 teachers able to answer questions at all times via phone, messages, Teams, Edmodo, Skype, smoke signals, however they can. We will provide and scaffold the work, however parents will need to facilitate it if they choose to keep their kids at home.

Seeing I got home so early, I fired up the Charcoal BBQ (between sets of deads I kept an eye on it, however it took a while, charcoal got wet the other night) and have a Pork roast cooking away with some carrots, spuds, pumpkin and I’ve just cracked a Bulmers while shooting some darts and waiting for it to finish, however the smell out the back is driving me nuts!

What kind of a fluff day is this, no multiple high rep sets of ridiculous high weight squats?
Hope you’re doing fine Luc.
I’ve got colleagues at work with kids at home, doing all sorts of homework with them. Driving them nuts by all the not so easy homework, combined with working from home. Some have smaller kids running around climbing the walls of the house, not understanding why the elder sibling can’t play with them.

Yeah it’s a crazy time hey. My son has been home the last 2 weeks, wasn’t really any point sending him, he only had 4 kids in some of his classes, so he did whatever they set from home. We’ve still been at work as the schools have remained open, however, I have only had between 6 and 9 kids most days for last few weeks. School holidays officially start at the end of tomorrow for 2 weeks, I reckon we’ll have a heap back after the holidays as many would have been boxed up at home and driving their parents nuts for around 5 weeks by then.
