So, legs are still sore from 5x5 the other day, bloody awesome, I forgot how much I loved 5x5 squats!
Today was pretty easy, probably going to have to squeeze in a session tomorrow, and maybe Tuesday, not ideal, but fuck it. I’ve got a flat out week, parent interviews, a late and long meeting one night and my son’s birthday another.

This monolith program is very similar to the 5x5 Bill Starr and Madcow I used to run.
I forgot how much I like 5x5 squats, I ran it for years, very rarely missing sessions and made awesome progress. Bloody loved it. Since then I’ve had a few years off, then piss farted about with various stuff.
Today the first and second set felt like a ton, then it felt like a feather!
