Going Deep On Squats

Hiya! Ok, in squats, I can’t do them ATG style :frowning: I think it’s because my hip flexor or tight, but I’m not sure that that’s the problem because I’m not positive where the hip flexors are. Are they like, in the front of your body on the inside of your hips? Also, what would be some good exercises to allow you to go deeper in a squat. Thanks!
