Isn’t tendonitis caused from overwork? Seems like high rep/low weight curls would aggravate it. I don’t know nuth’in about it, but hope you heal up fast. It’s got to be really annoying.

tendonitis seems to come with the territory for the most part.

I have some thoughts about what aggrevates it big shocks to the joints.
poor posture when typing or writing and in my case some very repitive shit I do at work
that bothers it directly.

Snatch grip deads , pin presses, and pullups seem to kill it the worst.
its sucks to be so crippled by some wingy thing

ice, ibu and the rehab crap is helping. lotsa stretching too. was able to get under the bar tonight with a closer grip w/o pain

seated dumbell curl super strict 3 x 15w/50s, last set really sucked
dumbell preacher 2 x 10 really stretches tendon, stayed light
reverse cable curl 3 x 15
face pulls 4 x 10-12
then:
sled drags/pulls alternated, 15 minutes straight
then:
treadmill, 2.5 incline, 1 mile in 16:30, I would like to up this each week until I am jogging, we shall see

30 minutes elliptical this a.m.

had second interview. things looking good, however this is an interview before the budget for the position is in place… we shall see.

Don’t do it, jogging sucks. I’m doing 2-3 miles training for that damn warrior dash and its boring as hell. Sled dragging always whips my ass, good job.

Thanks Joe, that is why I added the ‘we shall see.’ I had the same objective a couple of years ago, once I got to a certain point I said ‘good enough’ and dropped it.

yeah, about every two years I get the notion to jog. Don’t worry folks, it will disappear soon.

OK, this is not bragging, more just kinda wierd. For the second time in about a year a woman from my past calls the house. First time I was home alone with the boy, and it was an ex, she said she had a dream about me, we chatted, connected on a social network, meanwhile told the wife about (most) of it. (Damn she still looks fine). This is after no conversation in 13 years?

Tonight phone rings, caller ID says ‘private’, I say fug that. Girl a buddy went out with 15 years ago. But she had a thing for me. (I was good looking once). Starts talking about how she has been thinking about me. Then went off the fuggen deep end. Rambled about having a hard time finding work because of gaps in her employment (she is pushing 40). Started talking about how everyone in this state is so narrow minded (the liberal mecca of the midwest), etc, etc. I made the ‘crazy’ sign to my wife, and she sent my little boy in to ask me for some milk. Great segway off the phone. I told her to find me on facebook. God I love my wife. But this woman was kinda fuggen scary. Oh well, lock the doors, load the guns, let the dogs sleep out for awhile:)

Retired from military = quit running. Both for exercise and to save my ass. Take up swimming, better all the way round.

been bad, but finally rectified: took dogs for one mile walk. They suck to walk in the winter, due to ice and them pulling. Thawed enough now to brave daily, insteaed on once a week. Felt really good.

Although todays session was relatively light, somehow it created immediate muscle soreness, or maybe just reactivated it from Monday’s ME session. Lower body feels pretty damn sore, love it.

30 minutes elliptical

i don’t run…ever. that’s why i got big, so i don’t have to run anymore:)

i do some sled dragging but get bored with that, so i just bought a weighted vest from elite. this one goes up to 100lbs. it also sits above the abs and lower back so you get a ton of work in those areas to stabilize all that weight. hopefully it will be here in the next couple days. i’m going to wear it while i walk the dog. also been thinking of wearing it while i work. i’m on my feet all day.
