Now you guys are makin’ me jealous! Our growing season is so short, we get no corn or cukes until August!

Mj, not real sure what that means but I usually enjoy things I chose to do or I wouldn’t be doing them. At this point in my life it’s kinda a matter of perspective. I wake up in my own bed and nobody’s shooting at me. All else is good. But just for you I’ll try to live small and have a less awesome time today. [/quote]
Hel, that is exactly what I meant. That you choose to do things you enjoy, then enjoy them.
I hope you are kidding about having a less awesome time. You are living the life I aspire to. Truly.
E don be summer in de sot. Hot and humid is an understatement. Pretty lucky that a lot of my route is tree lined and offers some good shade. People always giving me ice tea, water, and sodas (give me a Double Cola and I’m your friend for life) so it’s not so bad.
Management teams has decended on us to tell us the decreasing mail volume will mean more route adjustments. Translation, we know all mail carriers have plenty of extra time everyday so we’ll increase the size of your routes. Yeah, more cardio.
Anyway, got home yesterday, went straight for a swim, said that’s it, about an hour later felt guilty, went out back and got some throwing in. Sat on the deck as it got dark and watch the lightning bugs put on the best free show around. Hopefully deads tonight.
The fire flies are going crazy here as well. I like a nice cigar while sitting on the deck with the dog and watching them.

Keep treadin water there kmc.
I got a Lab does the same thing, JW. Catchs them and spits them out, can’t stand the taste. Sometimes when I sneak out for a night swim I can see them all up and down the shore line as I swim back in. Pure beauty.
Eco, you have discovered my number one vice. Ain’t nothing as good as a stogie. Matter of fact my brother got me a bottle of a new kind of vodka called Firefly suppose to taste like a stiff sweet tea. Plan on firing up a Hav-a-Tampa in a salute to all the US mkers closing. Not my favorite but what the heck.

That was it. Had eaten today. Too full of liquids out in the heat to get hungry. Work out ended and the hungries kicked end.

That DL is coming right along Hel! Go eat a cow or somthin’ will ya - plainly you’re just wasting away…
We planted some blackberries, raspberries and blueberries, this year. None of them are big enough to really yield…and the raspberries, apparently, drowned. That’s okay. I prefer blueberries and blackberries anyway.
Just got the okra in the ground about 2 weeks ago. As usual, they are going to town.
Great DLs, hel. The shrugs also. I haven’t been brave enough to venture over 300.
Off to work today. Another beautiful 98 degrees. Bench right after work.
Good trainin’ there young fella… dances-with-snakes, lol!
Dem berries will make you regular.
Barry, where you been? Out galavanting around the country? Really good to hear from you. And I’m nothing if not regular.
Bunny, I don’t mind dancin with the snakes, it’s those little love bites get to me.
Went straight from work to the gym last night. Had eatin all day, nothing but water. First time I’d weighed myself in a while. 228#. Getting skinny.

and ran out of gas. Went home, Bar-b-qued some steaks for wife, me, and a couple of nieces and a nephew who’d come by. Lit up a cigar, tried the Firefly vodka, way to sweet for me, and watched the real fireflyes come out.
This morning
Watched the sun come up as I was swimming in the river. Did about an hour swim then cooked breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash and biscuits. Headed out shopping with the wife soon so I’ll have to forage for lunch somewhere out an about. Everyone have a good sunday.
Wow… What a wonderful day.
Nice day… nice trainin’ too! Your gonna have “hawt abz” damn soon!
Speaking of the “hawt abz”. I come before all of you looking for advice and guidance. My diet currently sucks and I’ve been losing weight cause I don’t get around to eating right most days. My knowledge of nutrition sucks and if I wasn’t so lazy I’d probably sit here for many hours doing research. But what are friends for?

I have 2 shakes a day or I would never get enough calories to grow on. I do drink one of them PWO. Its also just easy if you start running behind on eatting because of work so I keep a jub in my office.
That is a hell of Mil press, no pun intended.
I eat anything and everything… if I feel I did not get enough protein during the day I will throw in a couple of protein drinks. I definitely have a protein drink after work out… with some glutamine in it usually. I figure… throw enough sh$#! at the wall, some of it 'bound to stick.
as for good tastin, get Vanilla Grow! here at the site, or some other vanilla protein powder. at the store, go to the kool-aid aisle and look for the little crystal light single serving things. I grab a bunch of flavors for variety (all the berry flavored ones are best), mix with the water first, then add the protein. my shakes usually have just shy of 60g protein. I always have one for breakfast, cuz its fast. I have one post workout cuz its fast. then I have another one if I think that I am going to have less than 300g protein that day.
