Hammer, hard to remember to keep feet still. I wore javelin spikes, don’t have the special hammer shoes.

That caber is really tough1 I can remember playing with one in college. Never could get that thing to flip

To the person who sent me the very nice PM, yes I have eyes, I just don’t open them all the way a lot.
Bought a pitch fork at the coop today. Got some really weird looks testing differeent ones out. I will improve my sheath toss. It presently sucks. I plan for it to suck less by my next comp. Maybe I’ll start listing my practice PRs, Sucks - 6’, Sucks -5’, etc.
Was going to deadlift after work today but about half way through my route today the lower back says, “want to play with the younguns, huh? Like picking up trees?” So I did some seated and laying stuff

Sounds like a great meet. The pictures are awesome. Your background in throwing must have really come in handy. There are highland games every year here in NH. I need to go and watch one.

Eco, A throwing background does help in the HG. That’s why the guys who specialize in the games call the sheath and caber the equalizers. Nothing else trains for those except doing them.
Mj, not real sure what that means but I usually enjoy things I chose to do or I wouldn’t be doing them. At this point in my life it’s kinda a matter of perspective. I wake up in my own bed and nobody’s shooting at me. All else is good. But just for you I’ll try to live small and have a less awesome time today.
