Goin' Kickin' and Screamin'

great showing harry, congratulations!

Thanks punny one. We’re never satisfied with our own performance.
That was the easy meet George. Next one’s get harder.
I’m sticking with my lime green leisure suit, Tony. They’ll come back in style soon I’m sure.
Thank you very much, Mr mj.
See what you mean on the vid Carl. Probably why I don’t feel explosive on the delivery. Something else to work on.

Not much of a workout today. Met the wife at the gym afterwork, played around with the weights, walked on the treadmill next to hers. Having just walked all day I think the word here is redundant. Flirted with her until she made me go away. BSed with the owner until wife finished. Got home, took a few throws with the shot and a couple of tosses of the disc. Gonna sneak in a little late night swim later. I need to lift something heavy. I think i’m wasting away.

Another long day coming Sunday. Weather is suppose to be crappy Sunday, T-Storms and almost 90 degrees. See how it affects the meet.

A little nostalgia involved here. Where the meet is being held, Memorial Stadium, Selma, Ala:
5th place shot, ???discus, 10th grade, HS State championships,1971.
2nd place shot, 3rd place discus, 11th grade, HS state championships,1972.
1st place shot and discus,12 grade, HS state champioships,1973.
Damn, that makes me look old. Hope they’ve kept the place up.
Yeah, life’s a circle.

They’re chilly in the drawers. I’ve tried it and don’t like it. Great job on the meet. Thanks for posting the videos. I don’t know a ton about throwing but plan to find out more.

Thanks for visiting Ms o_s. Very impressed by your dedication to PL. Throwers are kinda the cousins of lifters. We do a lot of lifting so we can, hopefully, throw stuff real far. Like lifting, it can be a lifelong addiction. All started with that first rattle I got over the side of the crib.

5/2/10 - alabama senior olys discus - 1st place - 39.97
Story at 11. Good night.

Lol…winning has become a habit! A damned fine habit to have.

Great job, Harry. Outstanding!

Outstanding. Are you allowed to wear those to bed?

Harry - I’ll bet if you put all your medals on you’d need help walking.

Well done.

You should put them all on at once and do a Rap Video!

Nice Job, next?

Ok, I wore all the medals to bed, all bent over and rappin’. Unfortunately, I don’t know any rap songs so ended up just spittin through my lips tryin to make that beat noise and came off lookin like a droolin Quasimodo in chains. Scary thing is, the wife liked it. Thank you all very much.

If you look at the trees in the shot vid and turn up the sound you can see how windy it was. We were racing the weather to see if we got through before it hit and fortunately we did. We made it but the downpour caught me on the way home and made for some slow going. Next T&F meet is scheduled for 5 June. Have to see if I’m going to be able to squeeze in any Highland games. Committed to the Honor Flight and upcoming rodeo so weekends are getting tight. Have a bit of an arguement with one of the Highland federations. May be more to come on that.
Had to get back to the gym this morning.

nice way to see gym work turn to gold

very inspirational indeed

Its not a rap video without the video. You will need to get your wife to tape it and post it on you tube! Ex

You could be more famous than the chubby star wars kid!

Showoff.

YOWZA~!

“Get off of the bench, boys, and let me show you how this is done…”

Very nice.

Nice job at the games and with your training. They were some damn good throws. I really enjoy following your exploits!

Nice work, Harry. Great benching.
