Wilson, you throw the same implement for weight over bar and distance. If there is a master’s division it’s 42# and if there’s just a straight amateur division it’s 56# (all based on a stone, 14#). Jack, “controlled” wasn’t the word for that throw. Even with my javelin short spikes on I was slippin all over the place. That was about as slow as I could go and keep the weight spinning with a little heigth.
Games are this Saturday and looks like the weather’s takin a turn for the better. Suppose to be mid 50s with only a slight chance of rain in Chattanooga. Also, there’s going to be a guest professional, Kerry Overfelt. Four women have entered the women’s division so that’ll be interesting.

Home for a meeting with financal advisor (a nephew) about money stuff, I think. He and wife talked, I nodded off a lot. Started to hit the bed when stomach said, hello! Half a box of Rice Krispies, 2 bananas.

After work tomorrow get everything packed and ready for Saturday. Only about 105 miles away but change to eastern time right at the state line so have to leave early. Long winded again and going to try to at least everyone’s log, after I eat.
