Goin' Kickin' and Screamin'

Great stories and great lifting Harry. You should write a book.

Impressive BTN presses hel, as always.

Nice workout Harry, kettle balls, DB snatches and the pitchfork swings make for some intresting training.

Eco, have to leave all the good stuff out in case the wife reads it.
Joe, I really like the btn press but I have to put my grip so far out to get the damn bar behind my neck I’m in a weak position. Working on getting the hands in closer.
JW, the theory is those lifts will carry over to highland throwing. The pitch fork swings I kinda invented. I get some really strange looks and a lot of space when I do those. Funny thing is no ones said “what the hell are those” yet?

Wimped out tonight. With 4 more 10 hour days comin up just couldn’t bring myself to push the deads or the squats. In the “will I ever learn” department, my friend asked me about the tiathlon relay again. I said “if you can’t find anyone else”. Soon as I said it I knew he heard “I’ll do it”.

nice work, I think the other gym goers are skeered to ask.
Hoiday is always busy, and ten hour days- those are bankers hours.
I get booked for ,10,12,and 14 hours of suck

You’re a stud Hel, those who can’t dream about it. When we’re sittin in front of the window drulling you can tell me about it.

Lots of good stuff going on in here. Strong work, as always.

I am a little late for the vets day post, but wanted to share a little tidbit about a service-oriented individual. My buddy just got back from an 18 month tour in Afghanistan, and, rather than go do something fun before he was due back to work (which means getting ready to deploy to Iraq), he decided to spend his time off helping a buddy (me) move his entire family cross country with nothing in return except for for a thank you. I am indeed grateful for the individuals like him who serve their county, family, and friends and ask very little in return.

Oh, and I’ll never look at a jet engine the same way again.

Lift hard,

Jack

Great training Harry. I wish you trained at my gym, I’d do the crazy shit just becasue it was crazy and no one did it. How I know about the 10 hour days. UGH!

Wilson

Sounds like a good friend there jack. Wish him Godspeed if he’s got to go back over.
We can sit and drool over the nurses in the home together, Barry.
JW, With all the people out of work I guess I shouldn’t be complaining about too much work.

How did you feel after those 2x500m runs? I’d be puking my lunch all over. I agree with Barry, you are a stud.

Sorry Steve, didn’t clarify. Those were in the pool. Get ready in case I’ve got to do the triathlon. Farthest I run on land is 40m.

Friday night lights, oh yeah! Had to cut it short. A great nephew (damn that makes me sound old) started the season as 3rd string linebacker for his high school team. Kept working at it and last night made his debut as a starter. 10th grade, just turned 16, 6’2", 210, rock solid. Only about 40 or 50 of the family showed up for the game. Yeah, we embarassed the boy yellin.
