Goals = Burn Fat, Build Muscle, and Be Strong

I have been lurking here for a while with the occasional post, but mostly just lurking and learning.
Over the last 6 months I have really gotten into weightlifting with a huge interest in strength and having a really athletic figure.

I got a membership to the best Gym in town (apparently its still not that impressive) and started going like 3 to 4 times a week… when I would actually have the self discipline to do it.
I started and stopped several times, and went through several diet ideas but I always dropped the ball 2 weeks in and basically lost all the gains I had made.

This time, though, I’m serious. I’m tired of having a lot of muscle hiding under fat. I just want the damn muscle and none of the fat.

Currently I weigh 170 (fortunately I carry it well)
I want to weight 150 after this go at it, but maybe one day I will get a little lower.

Maxes= I maxed out more than 6 months ago, so I wont post those until I reconfirm them.

Workout= The Tobata method, with some regular weight lifting (squats, Dead-lifts, bench, power-cleans, press, good mornings, etc)

Diet= All white meat and water for a week or two and then I will start reintroducing red meat then carbs after my body has had a little time to reset a little.

Supplements= HOT-ROX Extreme, Se7en, and Low-Carb Metabolic Drive protein.

Goals= Burn fat, build muscle, and be strong.

So I started the system today.

The all meat diet started out pretty good, but old habits, or should I say lifestyles, die hard. Not as good as I had hoped, but its a start. I guess I can’t bridge that big of a gap overnight, without grocery shopping.

Supplements= I am really bad about remembering the medicines I am supposed to take for my health, so it doesn’t surprise me much that I forgot it all until about 2 and after I took them I realized it was kind of wasted effort. I just need to work out some method of remembering everything better.

Work out= Tabata method thrusters with 10 lb weights and at about a minute I jumped down to 5 lbs because I was burning out quick.
At about 2:30, I about died. Well let’s just say I had an anxiety attack from the stress or something. I have really bad anxiety so I guess that’s just one more thing to push through.
BUT After I quit hyperventilating, I pushed on through the last 1:30.
I think my quads are falling off my legs, and my glutes aren’t feeling too hot either.
But that’s all a good thing. At least I kind of got one thing right on my first day back.

I just started and I am having issues already.
I have been trying to keep things together, but finals have me all messed up. Pizza and energy drinks; They don’t help my diet, but they helped me pass, no ace, my first final today. I have two more to go today then I am done for the semester. Starting over on diet tomorrow.

I can’t walk right from those thrusters. I’m hoping that means I did ok. I went to my martial arts class last night and got some cardio in and pushed through the stiffness/soreness.
I need to foam roll tonight after my tests, and I intend to do so.

Everything will be back on track tomorrow. I might even go work out tonight in spite of only having 2 hours of sleep. I should probably do that. I think I will.
