Learnt this yesterday from these very forums!

Drink high GI carbs/protein during and after workout, such as Surge.

BUT, also for your next meal about an hour later eat a LOT of medium to high GI carbs and more protein to help fully reload glycogen muscle stores, aid recovery and put on even more muscle.

Don’t fill your foods with too much sauces, taste enhancers etc. It’s addictive, and will eventually make you forget the taste of real food. Once stopped, you’d be amazed how great your food tastes even without all this crap.

Spend the time preparing your foods on the weekend. It’s hard to fall off the horse if you have grub ready to eat out the fridge. Time is a major problem area when it comes to diet. People just don’t have enough time to invest into their diet, but if the leg work is done up front, it’s hard to fail. Cook chicken, eggs and store in the fridge. Prepare you fresh veggies and salad and store in the fridge. Anything that’s going to last longer than a week, freeze it. This makes dieting a tonne easier for me, and I find I don’t eat crap when I have good food prepared and ready to eat in my kitchen.

bulking tip: eat throughout the night, a nightime protein shake and extra healthy fats goes a long way to keep me growing and managing fat gain.

cutting tip: GRADUALLY lower carb intake while increasing protein and EFA’s. too many people go from 200g of carbs to 50g and wonder why they feel like shit and weak as hell in the gym.
also get the carbs eaten either in the morning or post workout on trainng days.

Dont let training intensity drop due to calorie restriction. If you are decreasing your load while training you are neglecting your diet and sacrificing muscle mass. Modify your diet. Either incresase carbs during and preworkout or increases fats during the day.
Never sacrifice load!

Sugarless gum is a great way to stop the cravings when you get hungry. Hot beverages like green tea do the same.

Water during and after a meal improves digestion, and makes you feel full.

My diet tip is that I like to taper my carbs from more in the morning to less at night.

Keep a log of the food you eat. Whether you are dieting or trying to gain lbm, keeping track of what you eat is the best way to make sure you are getting what you need. I would like to try mag-10

My tip is to eat, eat, and eat some more. I recently started massive eating and I was suprised to see that I was eating about 50% of what I needed to grow. I added the calories slowly and the mass is starting to show.

Take a multi vitamin, eat good, fresh fruits and vegtables and no processed meats and you’ll look good nekid. Cut out the late day carbs and you will slim down quicker.

Make sure you are keeping a food log and writing down everything you eat. If not, you could be shooting yourself in the foot and not eating as much as you think you are.

When you want to bulk up and you are extremely skinny like 145 pounds, don’t immediately start cutting once your precious abs disappear a little bit. You are gonna gain a little bit of fat on a bulking diet. If you don’t follow this you are gonna be 150 pounds forever.
