New Orleans would be cool. I've always wanted to spend a Christmas there. But I've ALWAYS wanted to go to New York. Maybe sometime soon - Ko and I will go for the Big Apple Comic Book Show. And never have been to the east side of Canada - just B.C. and Victoria. Would LOVE to visit Toronto someday...Someday (sigh).
The female form has been the subject of art for centuries. As a matter of fact, I prefer to draw women over men when it comes to my own work. Many of my favorite artists are the ones who are excellent in their representation of the female form. Frank Frazetta, Gil Elvgren, Vargas, Petty, etc. Gil Elvgren’s work can occasionally be spotted at the bottom of a Atomic Dog article here in T-Mag. His women were sublime in form. Frank Frazetta’s women were marvelous creatures. They are sensual, strong and beautiful. Full busted, well-rounded. His, in my opinion, are some of the best creations in art of women. And there’s the old Esquire magazines that would feature Vargas or Petty girls. Vargas and Petty were masters of airbrushed art.
Now there is also Heavy Metal magazine. We have a collection at home. It contains sexually explicit stories, but also amazing art. Very good stuff. I'm sure Michelle, who has a background with comic books (right?) - is familiar with Heavy Metal. There's also a book called "Mammoth Book of Illustrated Erotica" - check it out. Very interesting. And how about some of the European artists? Like Milo Manara? Serpieri?
My suggestion to some of these guys would be to, yes, put down the Playboys, etc. Just for a bit. But check out what else is out there in the way of art. I've provided you a list above. And I have more, if you'd like. There's a gallery in Portland that has a annual Erotica show. I mean, there's sculptures that are truly phallic in nature and nude photos, etc. Very interesting stuff. I'm hoping to get some of my work in there for next year's show. Ko and I have a friend who's a photographer and she has this amazing ability to photograph beautiful nudes (she's done some of me, too), and was showing there. Had a good time, looking at li'l dick-like sculptures (man, there are some twisted artists out there. he he he). I also had a hair stylist who useto put on some "Fetish" show - and I decided to check that out once. Lots of nude bodies with bodypaint on, etc.
You know, I am pretty comfortable with my body and my sexuality. Does that make sound insecure? Hmmmmm. He he he.

People come to this site and post questions on a variety of topics: training, nutrition, relationships, etc. Giving people information about our backgrounds, accomplishments, experiences, etc. (what you call being insecure and bragging) we add credibility to our posts. Is this a bad thing? I do not think so. I want to know if someone excels in a specific field, so that I know their information is valid, or just to get to know a person a little better since we cannot meet face to face. Based on your posts in this thread and others, I find your advice on relationships laughable at best ( I especially like the one in the “what is love” post). On another note, Muscle Jeff did not give us much info on his girlfriend, besides the fact that she does not like playboy. She could be a great girl for all we know. Why throw that away over a few nudie mags. I bet she would have less of a problem with the muscle mags if the playboys were gone.

Your issues with women taint your worldview, and I sincerely hope that you get your shit straightened out before you end up old, alone, and miserable. I’ve been reading this thread for a while and I want to respond to that last comment. Demo does not wear a collar, nor do I. We have a relationship based on mutual respect and trust. As he has stated, I don’t like porn, he respects that. There are things that I do that he doesn’t like, so I have curbed that behavior. Neither of us have ‘changed’ for the other, it’s called compromise. A relationship is a union of two different people, and when they come together sometimes things have to be left behind. Immature, selfish people refuse to compromise. Neither Demo nor I are either.
Axy, it seems to me that got shit on quite badly by a woman in your past. I have searched through some of your posts and very very few are at all positive about women. I am sorry for you, but perhaps someday, when you are a big boy, you will understand that you have a very limited, twisted, cynical view about the opposite sex.
Seems like a few of you here have no concept of Human Psychology. Lets take a look at the premise- She’s taking away something he enjoy’s. Is he gonna be happy? NO. Why are some of you trying to prevent human nature? First, it is gentically coded that a man wants to procreate. This includes looking at as many hot women as possible and shooting as many loads as possible. Second- she has said they make her feel inferior and not good enough. Not good enough for what? She didn’t complain that there’s not enough sex did she? What actual problem is she having? Also, she dosen’t like him reading Bodybuilding magazines? Thats a joke. Serious self- issues. Well Axy we do have a common interest: Giger. I use several of his Bio-Landscape series as backgrounds for my desktop. But he doesn’t seem to treat male or female imagery separately. I mean look as his original Alien series. Their heads are actually penises. And there is a lot of erotic works throughout his career. He handles sexuality as if we were all plugs and sockets. Never seen a ‘loving’ scene or a picture of ‘humanity’.

It’s been awhile - like in 1991. Drove up to B.C., spent like 4-days and then caught the ferry down to Victoria. Beautiful. Checked out Butchard Gardens - at night. Wow. Hung out in the little Chinatown. Caught the ferry to Port Angeles. And drove home.
I do want to visit again! Ko and I are thinking about it. Seriously. Doin' a B.C. and Victoria trip. Where is your U? Close to downtown?

As for the porn, his girl friend may be uncomfortable for a LOT of reasons. If she feels he likes looking at fake women instead of her, if she feels she is being compared, or any of a million other reasons. Remember, we are only hearing his side of the story. As for the muscle mags, come on! Most of them show as much skin as Playboy! It's the exact same thing.

I speak from experience. First it’s playboy, next it’s “why do you have to be so big” and “why do you have to go to the gym so much” or “why do you have to do X.” Many women feel the need to transform their boyfriend/husband into their vision of what he SHOULD be, based on her ideal. Every man needs to be very careful about marrying this type of woman, TC’s Atomic Dog, “Testosterone Vampirellas” is a must read for a man in this situation.
