With this body comp, you are quite bold to try out that gallon of milk a day. I’d say, you’ll get chubby. Lot of sugar (lactose, which is problem, if you are not used to digesting it… diarrhoea yehh) and fat (though I love milk fat, fat from joghurt, chefir, butter, fats are really calorie-dense) with so much sodium that you’ll retent a lot of water…

Just train hard, squat and eat enough food to constantly get stronger-bigger. No need to rush things and end up as a fat boy with large forearms.

Dn’t get me wrong, gomad works well for those who are struggling to gain. But you are not that kind of guy. Also, incompatible with your goal of having abbzz

Benjamin, a few points for you (some things you said rang a bell) -

The whole fat cells multiplying thing/myth will completely hold you back. You will not gain fat cells at this point (I believe this is a childhood/development thing). There was a scare tactic going around putting people off weight gain in case they can’t lose the fat again (huh?), but it doesn’t matter if you were 25% bodyfat or 15%, you will still be able to lose the fat (it’s not permanent).

People waayyy underestimate how much fat they need to lose to be really lean (e.g. 5-8% bf). So if you think you look “OK” before cutting at 180lbs with average bodyfat (“looks like he works out, maybe?”), you’ll look like a skinnier version of Zac Efron after the required 20lbs or so of fat loss.

People almost always underestimate the amount of fat they are already carrying. If you think that maybe you’re close to 10% bf, you’re probably more like 14/15%. So this means that you may think, “oh I just need to lose another 5-10lbs and I’ll be ripped”, but 5lbs less later, you still aren’t anywhere close to your goals. It takes “just another 5lbs”, then “just another 5lbs”…and the cycle repeats until eventually you realise that you never had enough muscle mass to show off.

As for stubborn fat (e.g. love handles) like after a long term bulk, these too are not permanent. For me, they started developing around the 12% mark (which is low bodyfat to have hip fat at). It really worried me (looked really noticeable because of my small waist and relative leaness) and I wondered if they would be permanent because even when I got leaner, they didn’t seem to shrink much. Eventually, when I got closer to 8%, they shrank a lot and started to disapear. So don’t let that play with your head if you do have that problem.

And finally, don’t get caught up with too much reading/“magic” plans. As has been mentioned, progress based on your own feedback is what matters

Honestly, no one cares what you plan to do until you have some real significant before and after pictures.

Most of the people here do nothing but talk about what they plan to do.

I guess they’ll actually do it one day.
Your presence on these forums is becoming increasingly more useless and inflammatory. If you are going for the motivation angle, you missed the mark.

Stu is motivational, you’re annoying.
Good. Let it be annoying. What I wrote is also 100% true. Do you know how many people have logged in over the last decade talking about what they PLAN to do? How many hundreds have just posted a “before” pic stating they were doing so to hold themselves accountable…only to never see them again?

Most people don’t really have the drive for this. It takes more a lifestyle change than they are willing to give.

Further, if I am so annoying, put me on ignore and save me and everyone else the pain of hearing you bitch any more about how I write.

Good post.

On that note, that still gets to me how many people seemed to jump on that as if fat cells were just created any time to gained weight. I guess it helped sell more fat loss programs for a while. Too bad it was straight up lying to people.

It takes a few months to lose some fat. It takes YEARS to gain some real quality size.

… And, by “fucking hilarious”, I mean “fucking sad”.
Glad to have you back.

Thanks. If it weren’t for this fear of not being able to lose the fat again, there would probably be a lot more built people around…and less needless stress/guilt lol

exactly why I dont give a shit about gaining fat right now I am trying out this method, I dont care about what people thing. I have a relatively easy way of gaining when I eat a lot( not seeing fat being added, actually I saw fat decrease)

people think*

I have stretch marks on my inner arms, I only really started gaining muscle this year. The previous years I was a little bitch scared to injure myself. Injuring is part of the deal when you go hard( obviously try to minimize) Sloppy techniques or strict whatever gets you to your goal ; )

Yet, the name of the thread is “Getting ABS.” If you’re going to troll the BB forum, at least stay consistent with your story if you want to be more believable.

I think he had a revelation.

OP i’m actually really interested in seeing how this goes. I don’t advocate GOMAD but i would love to know how much weight you gained in a month and seeing how it all turns out.

Yeah I changed my mind. If I want to get bigger I have to accept loosing the abs for a while.

You are too optimistic X. The bitter taste of your experience is much more effective than the bitter taste of BCAA’s 12.5 minutes withing training for only 48 minutes only.

Then I am going to eat more frequently to increase my metabolism. Then I am going to do infomerical deep breathing for abs. Of course I am only going to do 6 second abs.
