Getting a Squat Suit On

I’ve watched a video on it, read multiple articles. And I still can’t get my squat suit on. It’s fo\r a 157-165 pound lifter, I weight 157 now, and will weigh 153 in competition. my issues are:

Can’t get it high enough on leg, my scrwny legs are finally to thick for something.
Ripping out all my leg hair

I’ve tried:
turning it inside out
using plastic bags as slippers.

help?

it’s a size 31 z suit from inzer btw if it helps.

talcum powder?

Once you get as high as you can pull it on, start working the leg hem up your thigh. This will bunch the material higher up on the leg. Then hang a strap- the same side as the leg you were bunching up- over a hook in the rack and “hang” yourself. This should pull the slack of the crotch/hips. Repeat these two steps on the other side. Then go back to the other side if it’s not up all the way and repeat. You get the idea?

If you cann’t get the crotch fully seated, at least get it high enough so you can get your straps up. Take a squat and repeat the steps above. Z-suits have punishing leg hems, but that material will stretch forever. I have a champion suit that was sick-tight on me when I weighed 245. I can get it on now weighing 280. Good luck.

Great advice, deff what I was looking for. and yeah, I can deffinately see buises in my future. I heard z suits will work as a decent deadlifting suit too, any validation of this?

Btw: I bought some compression shorts, and I managed to get them up even farther.

Get suit slippers. Totally differnt ball game to plastic bags.

I liek to lunge forwards and to the side as well in my suit to get it up that last little bit.

Second the suit slippers, they work like magic. Spandex works as well. Also Z-suits are pretty old school I believe unless they have improved them, isn’t there something better and/or newer to get? The first time my workout partner got on his Z suit he begged me to cut it off, I let him suffer on the floor for twenty minutes instead to break them in.

I have never tried it but I won’t do deads in a Z-suit.

Give it a try. I used my champion suit to pull in with some success. This suit sounds like it’s really tight so that might be easier if you squat in it a few times first.

Try shaving your legs, good for deadlift too, and you’ll ned some help. Also this might ring a bell:

Bro… that suit is the fucking devil. I believe that everyone should have experienced this suit because it is so damn painful.

All I can tell you bro is just to yank the shit out of it and just deal with the pain.
Baby powder will help a bit, but honestly man, just good, ol’ fashion cowboying up and getting it on.

The pain that this suit has is awful, but pulling the knees apart and getting the hips forward is neccisary for hitting depth and getting all out of the suit.
