Get Jacked Fast... OMG

I threw some stats up in my profile but I didn’t want to clog the thread with BS.

Hey,

Has anyone played with substituting CT’s new peri-workout philosophies with “Jet Jacked Fast”? The program involves BCAAs, creatine, etc. before and a protein shake after. His more recent posts advocate peri-workout programs consisting of Surge WF and Surge Recovery. Has anyone played with this? If so, would you recommend this over the program as it stands.

Thanks

GJF already incorporates SWF before every workout and Surge Recovery post workout during certain weeks. The SWF is included to maintain your intensity throughout the workout, and Recovery is used to recover after long periods of low calories. Recovery isn’t used all the time in order to maintain a caloric deficit, which is necessary for fat loss.

I’ve been following the training program but not the diet guidelines, and I’m seeing results (fat loss and strength gains). If my goal was to build muscle mass, then I’d use Workout Fuel and Recovery during all my workouts. However, the goal is fat loss, so I need to keep calories low.

I’m sure you could use the training program with CT’s peri-workout protocols and excess calories to put on size. The program is great, in my opinion.

starting tomorrow

Good morning all,

I discovered coach Thibaudeau’s writing only a few weeks ago, and I am very impressed…The reason I post this is I have a couple of questions regarding get jacked fast. I am probably going to buy the program anyways, but here goes:

I saw the first phase, and the nutrition associated with that phase. It is supposed to be a moderate diet, but from what I saw it has to be at least 3500 calories a day for that period? I might be wrong though as I calculated pretty fast and without a software, plus I love veggies and can eat a ton so that comes into play for me  I am guessing the program is aimed as more of a g-flux type of diet, with more calories but lots of exercise to create a caloric deficit? And if I am already at, or very close to, 10% bodyfat, should I still expect results from such a program?

Thank you!
