you guys aint gonna believe this shit. im at the gym yesterday and im in the locker room getting my shit together when i heard a huge THUD sounded like someone missed a squat. eventually i get out there to go do military presses and i see two BBs lined up like someones doing Deadlifts. one of em is pretty impressive though, 525lbs. so not many people at my gym deadlift and no one can deadlift more than that. so i start talking to the kid and then i start talking to his friend who was pulling like 350 or something and im like hey thats a good weight for your size what’a you like 140?(please remember that number) and hes like no, im 150-somethig… but im trying to cut then im like nah man just keep lifting like that and eating youll be huge, listen to your friend (the one who pulls 500) then he like, hes the one telling me to cut. im fucking flabergasted im like dude why you telling him to cut and hes like aw man, hed be shredded blah blah, look at his stomach (which wasnt abs) im like so what look at mine and i told him dude just keep eating and lifting. cut down after your big.

She used to look normal, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t impressed with her development.
I just don’t find a woman that looks like that attractive.

Yeah i hate that. I wish you guys would just use that damn toilet then you wouldnt have to go around getting ‘it’ all together afterwards would you?
Here’s a great nutritional quote I found from the Daniel Craig celebrity workout article:
greystoke wrote:
What you are witnessing is the slow castration of America. The American male is slowly being reduced to a bunch of skinny, timid, eunuchs.
We have rampant amounts of estrogen in our environment, tv commercials constantly show males as stupid dweebs, incompetent and totally dependent on the female of the species.
Men used to be men. They used to chew a tenpenny nail and spit out barbed wire fence. Now if they get close to a nail, they run get a tetanus shot.
Women don’t prefer skinny guys with 6-paks, they prefer other women. They have no choice. The testosterone driven male is an endangered species.
My old man once said “the only problem with civilization is it allows the existence of weaklings and cowards.”
said it better than i could
the best partner for a woman is a castrated male

“Don’t Get Caught Up In the “Muscle Mass” Trap and You Will Attract More Women!”
“You simply can’t look cool and have a large amount of muscle mass at the same time! When you try to wear nice or hip clothes something looks a little “off”.”
“Separate Yourself From the Goofy Bodybuilders.”
- As if people who would buy into this guy’s ideas were ever really “with” bodybuilders?
“So your goal should be to maintain an average amount of muscle mass and burn off all that extra body fat.”
- Who the fuck’s this douche to tell us what our goals SHOULD be?
“What you will need to do is spend much more time on cardio and less time with the weights. It will be hard at first. You will be pulled to the dark side of “maximum muscle mass” on a regular basis. You must remain mentally strong. Resist those temptations and you will look better.”
“One more thing…where do you think most of the attractive women in gyms hang out? Yep…the cardio section of the gym. It sounds like a win-win situation to me!”
What a fucking tool. “Hip” clothes? More cardio, less weights? Tailoring your training for a woman’s wants?
There’s no way in hell my training will ever become a means to some end like pussy.

Those are the types who become obese after they get married. Their entire motivation is based on ass instead of their personal achievement. Once they get it and settle down, they blow up faster than a retired NFL lineman.
There is no way in hell my personal goals will be dictated by the wants of someone else, especially some idiot who thinks my goal should be to wear trendy clothes without any hideous “bulges” sticking out from under.

You all should take this article more seriously. I remember this one time I went to the gym, and as soon as I arrive in the freeweight area, I could feel myself changing. Looking back,I should have just walked away right then.
Instead, I proceeded to do some curls and a couple sets of quarter-squats, I think that was my biggest mistake right there. You always think, oh, that’ll never happen to me. If only I had been more cautious.
Besides, in my experience, being built may get you in bed once, but without endurance keeps them coming back.
So, why are you defending this position here?
My biceps are just as functional at 14" than they are at 15, 16, and 18" with the only difference that presumably they can move more weight. I don’t curl weights for ‘functional’ purposes-- I do them so my biceps will grow.
The goal of many (I would think/hope most) in this little area of the Intarwebs is to have big, nasty, muscles.
The goal of competitive swimmers is to swim faster. Fine.
The focus here is, in large part, on size and strength, that is, aesthetics.
Perhaps your position may go over better in the “Functional Swimmers” area.
I have no idea what your point about ‘bed’ was.

My quads burn when I do squats am I doing them wrong?
one of the responses was basicly I dont like the way they hurt my legs so I just dont do them.
and I shit you not he said " the squats are the only exersise that makes me grunt I never grunt when I work shoulders bis/tris. -
I have always been a sporty looking guy with a nice upper body but I am at a new job sitting alot and my hips are getting fat.
how do I loose the fat in my buttocks and hips area so I can fit my jeans again without lifting weights and getting all big?
now I ask of you people,is this for real? I see thousands of posts like that on that site.
is the rest of the world really going to this.
are dudes really that fem now or is this just one of them funny sites where the rejects go?
Yes, especially in high school.
maybe I am the odd one out here, but in high school the ones I hung around were ones that drank beer/smoked weed, built cars to go as fast and be as low as they could, stood around in the back yard lifting as much as we could, eating anything in site ( semi-hot girls included)
so when did this happen
I don’t know. It confuses me as much as you. Hell, if girls wanted guys who were trying to get as big and as strong as they could, 95% of guys would be single.

If you’ve seen Fight Club, you’d be crazy to think Brad Pitt’s physique was anything less than stellar. It was far from big and bulky; the bloated power-lifter look went out of style with bell-bottomed pants.
Yeah, those big bloated powerlifters with all those unsightly muscles are disgusting. And there is no way they could ever have abz as hawt as Brad Pitt.
If the average woman wants a boy that looks like Brad Pitt, great. More men for me.
i dont know where this bullshit even stems from.
every time ive taken my shirt off infront of girls ive gotten compliments on my body. “wow, you have a really nice body”
“seriously, can you put that away its too much”
also have you ever noticed every male stripper is big and ripped and i dont think they got that way from doing laps in the pool.
right now though the whole skater-urban look is in and skaters arent exactly known for being big. and thats what girls like.
also the most important thing is being able to have the confidence in yourself to approach women and have that self confidence that youre “the shit” -basically to not care what others think and just assert yourself as being the best. personally without bodybuilding i dont know if i could do that. i have a LOT more condidence in myself now that ive got size than when i was small.
you can call me crazy for this, but i think a girl with more sexual tenacity would be attracted to a bigger more muscular guy who appears dominant than a smaller guy anyway.

Bodybuilding is portrayed very poorly in American culture these days. It’s seen as simply being “weird” or indicating some kind of mental or emotional issues.
Action stars are smaller than ever because an action star that is simply “lean” (at 150lbs) is much more easy to relate to for your average guy, and is something they could achieve without too much hard work. (Or steroids! boo!)
Sad times.
Man… remember in the movie predator when Arnold met up with that black dude (apollo creed is rocky) and they ddi the whole greeting thing. I was blown away by their arms. Holy fuck was that awesome.

I’ve seen some smokin’ hot chicks walking hand-in-hand with “guys” that look like this but I’d rather go without sex for the rest of my life than to accept that this look will get someone a date.
