When they say “genetic limitations” are different for everyone does that mean that i could reach them and only be benching 250 pounds or squating 350 pounds? I don’t want to be one of those people who works so hard to find out that his limitation set him at 250 pounds on a bench. Also, is this realistic for that to be a limitation or are the number much higher for people, esp 6’6" people. =)
Your genetic limitation might be a 250lb bench.
If your a 115lb female.
THERE ARE NO LIMITS!
Haha okay, i catch your drift. So its highly unlikely right?
Suppose this “ceiling” exists, how would you ever know?? Why worry about it??
Suppose your “limitation” is a 315 lb bench…You mean to tell me there is no way you can bench 320??

I think “genetic limitations” assumes you have EVERYTHING else completely in order, diet, training, and adequate rest. Given that most of us have day jobs and such, it’s not like all of these factors are going to be perfect, but there is always room for improvement, at least in my case! I mean, with a crap diet and inadequate rest, my “genetic limitations” were pretty severe, and once I got my act together, I saw some great gains. Just one man’s experience!
There are genetic hinderance, but with smart training and proper diet and supplementation, you should be able to get to where you want to be. Now, whether or you’ll be satisfied once you reach your goals is another matter.
