I’m considering Metal Gear but not getting DMC.
I have to say god of war I am disappoint, guess its just not for me. I picked up far cry 3 on sunday and love it. Played around 7 hours so far and haven’t even touched the main story yet but I got just about all the gear made and a bunch of posts/towers taken care of. Might be the first game I got full 100% on.
Finished Far Cry 3 this past week. Pretty much took over every spare minute I had for three weeks. Addicted really. I felt like Frank Lopez from Scarface at the end though, WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THE FUCKING CASH!
BTW, the original Batmobile sold at auction last week for 4.2 million dollars. Some rich dude is putting it on display in his living room. Mentioned that he had to remove a wall to do it. Ahhh to be wealthy…

What I loved to do in FC3 was to lay mines down before I attacked an outpost. Nothing more satisfying than shooting baddys and hearing an explosion in the background and seeing the XP points go up. Too bad they only last about five minutes and then vanish.
The glitches are hilarious too.
FC3 was definitely some of the most fun I’ve had in awhile. Figuring out all the different ways to kill people would probably get me put on the list if the government knew about it. Mines, c4, and nailing some poor dude in the face with a fire arrow the fun just keeps coming. I ended up with 70% complete, it sucks alittle that all the bad guys are gone once you beat the game because some of my achievements require them. Oh well maybe on play through number 2. Now its off to the uncharted series.
Wish my PS3 games would port to the PS4 then I wouldn’t have to get my PS3 fixed. I’m ever so close on just making my own PC for $500 and not buying anymore consoles.

Just watched Crysis 3 game play on 1080p HD and it has convinced me to. But the guy in the video has THE best graphics card on the market today the Nvidia GeForce GTX 690. His system plays every game on max settings with ease.

Are we ready for a PS$ yet?
I use my PS3 for all entertainment. Buying a new one had better carry with it a hell of a lot more bonuses than just the ability to play games better. I think the average player is now in their mid 30’s. People want more than just games.

I know I’m not. I’ve got a wii that collects dust and I split time between my PS3 and Xbox. I really don’t want to get a PS4 & Xbox720 or whatever.
Anyone getting the new Aliens game or Crysis 3. I’m getting both on Xbox.

Am I ready? Nope, still have a bunch of games I want to play on my PS3. I don’t have a huge hardon for graphics, so it will take more than better visuals to get me to upgrade.
The problem is, all the big new games (Metal Gear Solid 5, next iteration of Elder Scrolls and Fallout, ect) will be PS4/NextBox only, and eventually no new games will be released on PS3/360. This may be sooner rather than later if no one seems to be buying the new consoles.
Like it or not, you will have to buy a new one or be ready to be left behind as far as new releases for games (assuming you don’t game on PC).
I still probably won’t buy one initially, I no longer trust version 1 hardware from MS or Sony.

Lol @ Crysis on consoles
I rented Walking Dead on PS3 last night. Very interesting game play.

That’s why I’m excited about the new consoles. They’ve been holding back games for years. All rumours point to AMD hardware with 4-8 x86 cores, which should mean much better console ports and that games will finally be able to use more than the 1-2 cores most games are limited to today.
And possibly some cash for AMD, who can’t keep up with intel in the really high end segment any more.
If valve enters the market with their steambox, we’ll see some real competition.

The Apple iWatch…
As the Apple “iWatch” rumor mill gets wound up, a new report holds that Apple already has a team of 100 people working on the rumored smart wristwatch, including some prominent Apple employees.
Following initial reports earlier this week that Apple was developing an iOS-based wristwatch, unnamed sources tell Bloomberg that the team working on just such a device has grown over the past year and includes employees from its marketing, software, and hardware units who had previously worked on the iPhone and iPad.
Key members of the team are said to include James Foster, Apple’s senior director of engineering, and Achim Pantfoerder, a program manager who is credited with 13 Apple patents, including an electronic sighting compass and ambient light sensor.
The report comes on the heels of a New York Times report over the weekend that said Apple was experimenting with wristwatch-like devices that sported curved glass. However, a team of this size and with such prominent membership suggests the company might be farther ahead than the experimental phase.
CNET has contacted Apple for comment and will update this report when we learn more.
Previous reports held that Apple had partnered with Intel to develop an iOS wristwatch that would be Bluetooth-enabled and sport a 1.5-inch OLED screen.
