Regarding Battlefront 3, what would you guys prefer, first or third person?
Alls im hoping for is incredible destruction with the dice engine allowing for massive battles to be going on inside star destroyers the same time as space battles outside.
Tie fighters coming in for strafing runs blowing holes in the the capital ships, the vacuum sucking out troopers. Marines setting up det packs and time bombs to tear the ship apart. Running back to their ships whilst the massive ship slowly starts tearing into peices…
A nerd can dream lol
How about both? You should be able to switch according to your preference I think.
Ya, Battlefied with star wars characters. I don’t even care if it’s basically just a copy, that shit would be tight.
If they could make both first and third excel and not feel like ones tacked on it would be awesome to be able to switch.
IF the first person shooting was like Republic Commando i would jizz.

Anybody else buy theirs already? (PS4, of course. Nobody here is dumb enough to pay 500 for Microsoft’s DRM brick, or so i assume)
I’m putting all spare cash towards a pre order, I want to be playing BF4 asap. You bought yours?
The BF4 multiplayer reveal looked insane. Curious about the Commander mode and kit set-ups. I’m hoping for smoother controls too (BF3 felt a little sluggish). It will be nice to finally have a true BF experience on console.

Paid in full along with a 2 year warranty via Amazon.com last night only moments after the press conference was over LOL.
Ive never wanted a summer to go by quickly before…

I guess Microsoft is using their exclusive DLC partnerships with Activision and EA to justify their console’s price and DRM policy. It’s sad that getting CoD DLC 30 days early is enough for some to buy the xbox.

The fight system looks fairly straightforward, though I can see a lot of people that will bash the game on it because it’s not quite baby-ing them through those action scenes anymore. I like how the movement has been registered to the analog stick again and isn’t button activated like Heavy Rain.
The Aiden thing looks pretty cool and the carnage and destruction look real nice.
I look forward to this, and practically everything else Sony is putting out these next couple years.

Nice. What games you most looking forward to?
Well ive got watch dogs, Killzone Shadows Fall and Assassins Creed IV on my amazon wish list for launch titles, but wont actually buy until i see reviews. There are guaranteed to be reviews a week or so in advance so i can still get these on launch day with Amazon Prime.
Outside of launch titles, Destiny looked incredible, and super addictive. Im also super pumped for FFXV.
Outside of PS4, im really looking forward to Gran Turismo 6 on PS3 and obviously GTA V and the Last of Us.

I ordered mine last night, also. Summer can’t end fast enough. I am going to also be getting Watch Dogs, not sure about Killzone yet. Tom Clancy’s The Division is probably my most anticipated game right now along with Destiny. I cannot wait for all these games! Audio, if you haven’t already, check out the gameplay for Tom Clancy’s The Division, looks AWESOME!!! I will be getting GTA V for my 360 when it comes out also.
Well Amazon is sold out of PS4 pre-orders. I was on the fence since I have so many PS3 games I still need to get through, so it looks like I’ll have to wait for now. If rumors are true, PS4 shouldn’t be as hard to come by this holiday season (although I got to think demand will be 3-4x that of the Xbox One).
Hoping that my PS+ subscription allows me to accumulate all the free PS4 games, so once I do get one, I already have a game library waiting for me. I did the same with with PS+ and my Vita that I got 4 months after PS+ came out for it.

Really? Damn im glad i ordered mine last night then.
They already confirmed that if you currently have PS+, it will carry over with all its benefits to PS4.
EDIT: Just checked Amazon. The launch edition is sold out but you can still preorder the standard edition. Boy am i glad i preordered the launch edition last night.
Only difference is the Launch edition is guaranteed to be delivered the day the console releases, the standard edition is not. Price is (was) the same.
Final fantasy XV gameplay trailer has been released.
First impression: it LOOKS awesome! However i will remain skeptical until they show/reveal details on some of the other gameplay elements, such as how leveling and abilities will be handled, and most importantly, is it open world or linear bullshit like XIII?
But i must admit, seeing those iron giants and behemoths on PS4 is quite thrilling.
The story about Clark growing up and all that is fine…but holy fucking living shit the fighting with Zod and the other Kryptonians was mind-numbingly long and loud.
Maybe I’m getting old…but the long fight (including the scene in Smallville) was as bad if not worse than the long insane fighting in the last two Transformer movies.
I mean if you ever wanted to see Superman punch Zod through 5 buildings you’ll get to see that…about 30 times.
And the bass got annoying afterthe first ten times that Zod’s ship went by.
Fuck I ended up sort of hating the movie after and wanting to tell the screen to fuck off.

Hahaha,
I couldn’t resist reading this. I guess I’ll go grab some popcorn during that scene then. I hate long fighting scenes. Car chases are okay. Jason Bourne/James Bond/Jack Bauer fighting scenes are okay. Some CGI fights bore me to death, especially when the combos are always the same.

That’s the sad part because that’s what the end is like.
Maybe I’m remembering wrong but it seemed like the final fight was 20 minutes…and they didn’t have variety as you said. I like when the superhero shows his strength in different ways…that’s why I loved in Superman Returns when the bank robber on the roof shot Supes with a minigun and Superman just kept walking towards him then shot him in the eye with a pistol and the bullet crumpled on Superman’s eyeball.
I mean I actually don’t like it when Superman lifts a truck or something and grimaces like me in the gym. I want to see him pick up a 747 with one hand and point at something else with it like it’s nothing. Showing him having difficulty as a means to making him seem like any other character overcoming difficulties is not fooling anyone.
The Last Of Us, first hour and a bit of gameplay, will stay up because we’re past the embargo now. As far as I know there will be no commentary in the way and the guy is very good at games, for those who might not be able to buy The Last Of Us, or simply for those who can’t wait.
