Anyone pickup far cry 3 blood dragon yet? Played a demo tonight and had a blast with all its cheesyness, probably buying it tomorrow.

Experimental aircraft speeds to more than 3,000 mph in test flight…

The unmanned X-51A WaveRider sped westward for four minutes, reaching Mach 5.1, or more than five times the speed of sound, before plunging into the ocean as planned.

It flew for longer than any other aircraft of its kind and traveled more than 264 miles, reigniting decades-long efforts to develop a vehicle that could travel faster than a speeding bullet.

A passenger aircraft traveling at that speed could fly from Los Angeles to New York City in less than an hour.

I just got my code from AMD and installed it.

I absolutely love this game so far. The way it parodizes 80s action movies and games is hilarious. This board is probably full of Arnold and Terminator fans and I think they’d love it too. They even have Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese) voicing the protagonist.

The Verges review sums it up pretty well:

It’s also great to see developers make a game that’s a little different from the others. And it should be pretty cheap over there, 10-15 bucks or so. Just the first minutes of game play makes it worth it IMO.

How many bullets travel at Mach 5?

Cool btw.

That is a ramjet thingy then.

This will get interesting when attached to drones because the US could project power all across the globe because they would be there almost instantly.

Good to hear, I still haven’t had time to play it and won’t until after work and lifting tomorrow night. I loved the little cut scene at the beginning in the chopper all I could think of was the first scene in predator.

Wow, looking back on this I’m glad GTA IV closed in on those graphical improvements. This and Vice City look far more than a decade older in comparison.

Hahaha!!! Hilarious. They should have included the ‘‘Hot coffee mod’’ too. Ah, so many memories.

I can’t believe SA is nearly a decade old. The graphics look so frightening archaic that I can’t help but giggle in discomfort, thinking , ‘‘damn, I used to play this??’’. Lol…

Still a classic though.

I bought GTA Vice City on Steam the other day. Totally unplayable on my pc. I’m going to have to find a working PS2 if I want to play one of the greatest games ever made.

I hope the new GTA builds on the eerily accurate speech capabilities of LA Noire, and maybe learns how to make hands look like something better than meat hooks.

I’m so glad this is being made into a film, I read the book as a child but I don’t respond well to literature most of the time and I couldn’t bring myself to imagine it past more than a dysfunctional family and a few games of computer chess (I know it’s a war simulator, but you know what I mean).

I feel much the same way with The Great Gatsby, even though I expect to be thoroughly disappointed with the film, it will at least put me into a better visual context to compensate for my jaded imagination.

Also I love Ben Kingsley and Harrison Ford, so at least if the film does fall below expectations, I have their acting chops to rely on.

I hear Queen and I like it. The lack of in-your-face 80’s on GTA IV disturbed me.

I think I’m going to have a hell of a fun time playing as Trevor, and the Michael storyline doesn’t look half bad either.[/quote]

Looks good, although im a bit creeped out that Trevor looks eerily similar to my dad.

Its about time.

Guilty pleasure…that and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

No, that was your childhood.

Sorry.

I concur, the director (also screenwriter) has a very short, but pretty bad track record already. Admittedly his first film Tsotsi, an african drama, was pretty good, but since his others I’ve tended to see that one as more of a fluke than anything else. But you never know, maybe he works better in an independent film environment and crumbles under hollywood pressure, which if it’s the case, doesn’t speak good things for Ender’s Game.

Yep and Archer

I’ll be seeing Star Trek Into Darkness in 2 hours!

Another cute coincidence, the bad guy’s name is John Harrison…that’s my dad’s name!
