Had a lot of fun with the recent remake of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, despite some things I feel could have been done better, I liked the difficulty spikes they implemented and the squad make up of their classes and attributes. Punishing, but oh so fun. I will wait anxiously for the release of this, hoping to see it improve upon what Enemy Unknown might have missed.

I had my sniper Colonel all the way to the second to last mission, then one of the Elite Muttons jumped him and fucked him up.
Nooooooooooooooo!
He was so cool, and he could take out anything, ANYTHING, across the battlefield with one shot.
Saved more Rookies asses than my super new and improved body armor.
He will be missed.

It’s all about Squad Sight and Plasma Rifles. I remember the first time I came across a Sectopod, playing on Hard in my first proper playthrough once I got used to the game. Thing beamed me from off-screen and straight up killed my already injured leading medic in one turn. Damn near rage quit.

SHIV and squad sight.
SHIV, SHIV, SHIV.
And its true, my sharpshooters always got the newest and best rifles.
You got to have one insane, delusional maniac though that tries to catch them alive.
Those tend not to live long.

I remember the first time trying to take in a Muton alive, I got slaughtered, both assault classes wiped out in one turn. Come to think of, there were a few times my plans just flew straight out the window.
I got pretty good at countering the archangel plasma snipers online as well. Even won a game with a full squad of just Chryssalids, lucky because of the enemy choosing no flying guys and a few Sectoid Commanders, but still. My friend never put any thought into satellites, he would be doomed within two summary reports, no matter what difficulty or play style.
I hear Queen and I like it. The lack of in-your-face 80’s on GTA IV disturbed me.
I think I’m going to have a hell of a fun time playing as Trevor, and the Michael storyline doesn’t look half bad either.

And it’s Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, the game everyone thought was an April Fools joke until some russians hacked Uplay and leaked it.
Super charming website
Fucking awesome.
Cheers for that.

Nodding my head to radio gaga.
I’m going to have a hell of a fun playing Franklin. The story line Looks much more hardcore than a rich man going through a midlife crisis. I cant stand men going through midlife crisis… but I do love striptease clubs.
Trevor’s storyline looks badass too. Fucking psycho. The type of character I like.

If they don’t put New Order or Prince in, heads will roll.
I can appreciate ridiculous rich white man problems, there’ll probably be some hilarious dialogue between him and his botoxed hollywood wife, his plastic gangster son and his hormonal whore daughter, who I hope in a culminating twist of events, has a threesome with the mother and Trevor. Plus I like the old GoodFellas-y past gangster vibe they could give him, not sure if they will or not though.
I’m not even sure Trevor has a storyline, it’s just a Bath Salts-infused rage of hillbilly vengeance and Creedence Clearwater Revival. I want to see more of that torture scene, and beating people upside the head with bats, I hope there are different animations for each character, when it comes to jacking cars or swearing at people.
Awsome, it looks like the Grove Street Families from GTA:SA is back. I’m hoping for a CJ cameo, although I know Rockstar hates to have main characters re-appear, but I wonder if Sweet Johnson will at least have a cameo. Too bad Tenpenny got killed at the end of SA, would have loved to have him back in this game.
Also, was that Ice Cube doing VA work in the Franklin clip?
Also looks like the biker gang, The Lost, from GTA 4 is back and they have a beef with Trevor - should make things interesting.

I’d like to see the green Sabre show up, maybe as a secret vehicle in a hidden location. Tenpenny was a great character, I want Ken Rosenberg to come back, being some down and out poor heroin junkie buying from Trevor.
I also hope for a ton of very satisfying movie references, this was one of my all time favourites, for obvious reasons.
I wonder how all the storylines will culminate together in this one, it seems so strange for Franklin and Trevor to have any kind of strong interaction. Even Michael and both of the others is a strange mix.
It might be Ice Cube voicing Franklin, I think he denied it on Twitter, but he might just be keeping it under wraps. The voice doesn’t sound quite as deep as Ice Cube’s, but it might just be because the clip is short enough not to really get a better idea overall.
I hope The Lost make an appearance, I could imagine a great mission with Trevor camping out in his RV shotgunning approaching bikers.

Yesh. Yesh to all of this.

The skinny guy talking to Franklin sounded more like Ice Cube than Franklin IMO, but yeah it was kinda short to tell for sure (the skinny guy sounding like Cube made me do a double take).
That guy taking a baseball bat to the head was definitely wearing what looks like a Lost cutte.
I’m still hoping Michael is really Tommy Vercetti in witness protection, but I’m not gonna hold my breath on it. You really need Ray Liotta to do the voice acting to be a real Tommy, and from what I have read from the guys who worked on Vice City, Ray Liotta was the biggest pain in the ass to work with.

I would love a Trevor Vs. Bikers dynamic.
The backstory seems to suggest that Michael and Trevor are old buddies that used to rob banks together in the old days, unless Trevor is in on the whole fake identity idea, sadly it seems a little unlikely to really let him be Tommy with the way they’re hooking it. Trevor doesn’t seem like a guy that would keep that kind of thing under wraps, apparently him and Michael have a shit relationship by the time the events of the game come into play.
Yeah I hear Ray Liotta can be a bit of a dick, the new Call Of Duty Zombie Version 64.0 has him as a voice actor, apparently he was a bastard to record with then too.
Just picked up injustice gods among us for 35 bucks at toys r us, I feel alittle bad for the people that paid 60.
R rated punisher maybe or a marvel knights film??
This looks pretty fun, I’m starting to really like some of these games that pull away from conventional gaming modus operandi to form a more cinematic story experience. Things like Heavy Rain.

Pure coincidence that this showed up today just in time, I am definitely looking forward to playing this, maybe I can unearth a heightened appreciation for gaming beyond the usual now that they’re starting to cross farther into a situational story (film) perspective. And likewise that it’s an “interactive film” that I can mould to suit my preferences and, at least to an extent, tell the story that astounds me and is resonant with my personality. In fact, looking back on those predictions, I’m even more excited for this, I loved Heavy Rain and I’m one of the only people I know in person to have picked up Fahrenheit. This is definitely one to look forward to. Sadly I won’t have gone through this whole video by the time of the post, but I’ll likely have seen most, if not all of it, by the time any discussion comes in.
It’s a long one ladies and gentlemen, enjoy.
