OK I will admit this has sucks tide into it. But there is something about it that makes me want to see it.
Now there is also something about it that feels like they stole some DBZ moves.

You know, they were doing damn near the exact same dances in the 20’s-30’s…yet this is now “new”.
Where’s the “geek”, Wol?
This was a reference to what lame lightweight noob numba 1 aka me, Tony Montana Jr. aka RSGZ, Mr. That Becky aka Pootie, and NINJA SOULJA X were talking about. I’ll provide whatever…whenever you want daddy.

Guys…I know this may sound strange and even hard to believe…but several of my patients came in today claiming that The Karate Kid movie did NOT suck.
Has anyone here met anyone who they trust who has seen it yet?
I’ll still wait for DVD…but at least I may watch it if they actually did a decent job.
Mind you, I did treat a lot of kids today and teenagers.
FTR, i saw it. I enjoyed it very much.
Ok this is some old super-duper geekdom about to come your way.
Back in the 80’s there was this cartoon “Japanamation” that was played in the states about the end of the world and this old Ship that was converted to a space ship and sent out looking for a source to save earth.
They finally made a live action version:
i’m looking forward to that uchuu senkan yamato live action, it really seems promising

You just saw this? I saw this months ago and enjoyed the hell out of it.
I loved the scene where the wife tries to tell him to take the road and flips on her for a mili-second.

I loved this movie, my only bitch is that there were some crazies that seemed to have a higher functioning ability. The hillbilly hunters seemed more advanced than the school principal, that just does not make sense. Other than that I loved the way they moved from the crazies to the Govt guys creating a really cool tension.

They may not be Crazies. They may just be your average redneck.

I just thought it was some were more affected by the drug than others. Like the deputy. He managed to hold on for a long time and fought it till the end. Now the undertaker went ape shit nuts.
Good Movie.
I hope this works trailer for the next DC animated based on the Girl From Krypton which re-reintroduced Supergirl into comic continuity as the cousin of Superman and as a kryptonian. Not to be confused with the previous Supergirl from the late 80’s who was a proto lifeform from another dimension who later bonded with a human and then became an angel(man the 90’s where weird).
I wish DC would do the Freedom Fighters Superman/Batman where supes and bats are raised as dictators and then are shown the truth and they resurect the JLA via Ras Al Ghuls lazurus pools and zombie JLA mayhem ensues

Superman and Batman vs Darkseid, Super Rip off, and a Army of Doomsdays.
Superman should die since it took only one Doomsday to kill him. Batman shouldn’t even be in the fight. But whatever. DC logic FTW. Should be a good movie.

Did you ever read Public Enemies graphic novel? The book was actually better than the animated version…even though they did an ok job with it. They went far more in depth into how both of them think about each other and what is going on since half the book is alternating internal dialogue where one of them would think something and then they would show what the other is thinking in contrast.

Trust me on this Wol. When you think of Public Enemies series or really any of the Batman/Superman Worlds Greatest series don’t think DC. This group of books will make you see Superman in a whole new way. I always believed superman respected Bats but not as deeply as this. His thought show how he looks at Batman with disbelief and in some ways sees Bats as a superior warrior.

Agreed. They describe in detail what Bats thinks when Superman fires heat beams from his eyes and knocks out an enemy 2,000feet away from the sky. I think Bats fears what someonbe with that power could do if they ever got fed up with playing a nice guy.
The books were written ona very deep level that the cartoon didn’t reach…like toy man’s comments on Powergirl’s rack. It was hilarious in the comics but fell a little flat in the cartoon.

The internal monologues were great in that series, surprisingly deep, and really showed off how the two could work so efficiently as a team. The internal monologues also contrasted each one’s weaknesses with the other’s strengths. Plus we got a pretty good throwdown between Supes & Batsy vs Hawkman & Captain Marvel. If y’all liked “Public Enemies” then y’all might like reading JLA: Tornadoe’s Path. Brian Meltzer does a similar internal monologue between Supes, Batsy, and Wonder Woman as they build/recruit the new Justice League. He also adds a voice to Red Arrow/Arsenal and Vixen two newish recruits to the team. On top of that its a heart wrenching story of Red Tornado trying to shed in robotic body for a human one so as to connect with his wife and adopted daughter.
Wol-
Those were Desaad’s attempts at cloning a Doomsday army for Darksied. Apparently it’s as difficult to clone Doomsday as it was to craft the original one. Batman was taking out Doomsdays with explosive Batarangs. Wonder Woman and Supes were taking out 4 or 5 at a time. If it makes you feel better the Doomsdays did manage to kill Harbinger in a rather pointless death.
