What do you guys think about the new XBL rates?

Personally I think XBL is worth the price of admission, All the options and the online multiplayer experience is second to none.

Agreed.
Really, an extra $1 a month is no real biggie. If someone is an avid user, stock up on 2-3 12 month subscriptions and save in the long run, if it means that much to them.
By the way, Microsoft is upgrading the audio quality of XBL chat in the fall update; it’s long overdue but it will be nice to have good quality audio when talking to others. I’m going to pick up a set of those wireless Logitech’s Wormy posted a while back when they up the service.

I don’t have a problem with the price increase as long as it isn’t some arbitrary number they threw out there because they knew we would pay it.
Basically, I have no problem paying more to make a solid service better. I will be pissed, however, if the price increases and the quality of the service does not.
Ratchet you’ll have to give me til tomorrow for those videos, i got called into work and they’re on my home computer.

Makes sense, my step-son had a xbox so I played a lot of those games, but he went back to live with his dad. ![]()
Got a email from amazon today about Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and saw this listed:
Holy crap, next couple of months will be animation heaven.
I’m still waiting for Marvel to put out the Planet Hulk sequel. WTF is taking them so long?

Yeah, Dc seems to be trying hard…but I have to say what ruined the last batman (red hood) was the fact that Robin existed at all. Robin destroys Batman’s character. You can’t fear someone who hangs out with a kid in tights.
I hope Christian Bale simply walks out if the name Robin is even mentioned within 50 feet of him on set.

Chris Nolan has explicitly said that as long as he is directing the Batman films there will be no chance of an appearance of Robin. Going by the timeline Robin is still in nappies somewhere while these films take place.
Re: Assassin’s Creed 2
What’s the consensus on the necessity of having played AC 1?
How connected are the story lines? Is AC2 good enough to stand on its own without any prior gameplay with AC1?
My bro wants to buy AC, but I’ve told him that AC2 is supposedly much better. He doesn’t know if he should play the first before buying AC2.
Thoughts?

I do agree that the Robin character is kinda lame as a whole, but the first Robin’s evolution into Nightwing was great. The growing tension between him and Batman and the resulting separation was a good story arc. Also Nightwing is a badass.

I say start at the begining, AC 1 is not that long if you just do the missions and how much would it cost by this point 15-19 bucks. Worth it, makes AC 2 much better when you play it.

I thought they were all tied together with that whole computer thing and the past. Haven’t gotten around to part two yet but I should probably get my ass in gear with brotherhood coming out.
