I don’t understand the Hulk getting his ass kicked like that in that clip, kev.

Fighting games always benefit the fast characters who can do multiple combos. Strength means nothing in those games.

Hurts me to say it.

Wolf is correct the big guys don’t do any damage, because just like in life the big guy is always a pussy and can easily be beaten up by the weak small guy

Yeah…that sounds like bullshit, Wol.

Did you see that last animated Hulk movie?

None of these guys should be able to touch him without losing a body part.

Hulk is the shit for sure but that’d make for a really boring and lopsided game.

Unless they really lost their bodyparts… then it’d be awesome again, especially if you could pick them up and attack them with their own arm

The scaling of characters is necessary for fighting games otherwise you could just use Magneto in MvC 2 to crush everyone in about three seconds. Hopefully he will be in the 3rd one too.

They’re going to add as many characters as possible…
I want to see in MvC3: sentinel, storm, akuma, psylocke and megaman just to name a few, I know we could go on forever with this character wish list.

Since this is Geek Shit and all, can anyone give me any ideas about buying a Kindle or some other digital reader?
What do you want to do with it? Just read books? Browse the net? Watch movies? What’s your budget?
I mainly want to read with it. I’ve got too little space to continue ordering books, so I almost need it out here.

If you have a Android smartphone you can download a free Kindle app to it.

No idea what an Android smartphone is, as I am currently in Afghanistan. I am interesting in the Kindle itself. Thanks, though.

Might you be referring to Planet Hulk? EDITE: I am retarded, completely misunderstood what you said.

Also, I couldn’t stand the art in the Scott Pilgram graphic novels (hipster BS etc…), but the movie looks kinda fun in a ridiculous spoofy sort of way… I may just check it out for the over-the-top stuff just for the heck of it if it’s not completely terrible.

But alas, I, too hate Michael Cera. I almost didn’t watch Zombieland because I thought he was one of the leads lol.

Yeah, I saw the movies. But fighting games have always been like that.

Zangief, strong man from Russia, and T-hawk, Big Native American, from street fighter. Strong as shit, but few combos and it isn’t easy pulling off your throws.

I’ve seen my buddy play Soul Caliber, pick the faggiest looking girl or boy character and fight against the biggest bad ass in the game, and he would go on to pick them apart with combos and juggles.

Those games always benefit speed characters. Big and Strong = Fail.

Yeah, but its damn near pointless to play Hulk, Zangeif, Astaroth, Juggernaut, or any other big bastard.

It ain’t easy moving across the screen at such a slow speed and with projectiles coming at you.

they can keep their Alien Swarm, I want Episode 3.
Dude, being a little impatient aren’t you? It hasn’t even bee 10 years since episode 2 was released.

Looks like we are getting a sequel/spinoff to the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. This new show will feature a new female Avatar, whom has already mastered Earth, Water, and Fire. She now sets out to learn Wind from the son of Aang and Katara.

The premise looks pretty good, and it’s made by the creators of the original Avatar series. Avatar: The Last Airbender too good of a story and too beautiful a world to just set aside. I knew we would be seeing more of it, and this interview makes e excited for 2011.

Avatar: Legend of Korra

I posted this in the Halo thread, but that place is filled with degenerates, so I’ll post this here too.

Bungie created a ViDoc going over the improvements of Forge 2.0.

I’ve never been a fan of map editors, but something about halo’s Forge had me stacking blocks for hours. I’ll let the video do the explaining though, you really have to see the scale of the play area for yourself.

Wow, a female protagonist…

I guess this is one less TV show for me to watch.

The Losers:

YES

You fuckers are wrong for not telling me this movie was good.
