^When the Handsome Jack collection hits current Gen in March it’s supposed to have a split screen co-op options.

*That’s Borderlands…

Borderlands is a great great series. I have had a ton of fun playing those. I always have a hard time getting into the game though for some reason. Once I’m in I’m hooked but its so different that it takes a period of adjustment.

I liked how shadow of mordor was like the batman combat system. That kind of gameplay is so much fun for me. After playing the batman games my brother and I had said we wished they made a game with the same fighting style except gory sword fighting and open world. So I guess I probably enjoyed shadow of mordor so much because its exactly my type of game. Also we got is as a black friday deal for $25, and split the cost. Can’t go wrong with paying $12 for a game

Cool, Doogie and I used to do the co-ops, hope to try to Far Cry 4 mode this evening, since I just got it from Amazon last night.

Ya, I can see the appeal especially for $12 a person.

See I just couldn’t get into shadow of mordor. I thought it was a cheap knock off of the Batman games. I thought the mechanics weren’t as good either. Might give it another go.
Its awesome. It can be a little slow to catch on over the first few hours but once you start improving your character and unlocking more useful/cooler abilities it becomes an absolute blast.

Its super polished, continues to get better as the story goes on, and has probably the best combat mechanics of any game ive played since GoW3.

Some good deals for discounted games.

Will do. Lately I’ve been waiting for reviews before I buy games, but there’s a few that are on my list that are first day buys for me. I’m a sucker for anything zombie games particularly. Some other games that will be first day buys are Witcher 3 and Uncharted 3. I was thinking about picking up The Order as well until someone mentioned it may be less than 10 hours long. For $60, I just can’t justify 10 hours unless I can replay it 5 times. That’s where games like skyrim and fallout were so exceptional.
You know, I’ve found more than a few times that reviews have scared me away from a game that I later tried and found that I actually loved it. Reviews are a funny thing.
This is true and I’ve found it to also work in reverse where I’ll see a game that received a stellar review, purchased it only to be disappointed. This happened with the latest MGS game, where I heard it was short, but didn’t realize it was sub 60 minutes short. Also, am I the only one who hated the Dark Souls games? I received no entertainment or enjoyment out of them…

I got to play in the Evolve alpha and beta tests, and I was blown away. The game was tons of fun to play and it’s incredibly well balanced. Each match was different, and there were tons of different strategies you can use. Unfortunately, it looks to be mostly online play. There was mention of single player mode during the beta, but I think it’s just going to be a thin story that acts as an intro to all the game modes for online play. I’m probably going to buy it once it’s out.

That’s good to hear.

Well that is like a pair of fake tits on a 80 year old.

Unless replay value is ridiculous or the multiplayer offers a lot of value and time; I refuse to drop $60 on sub 15 hour “gameplay” games.

^Read that earlier. I’ll probably rent it. $60 for 15 hours isn’t worth it either imo…

Uncharted 2 and 3 clock in around 10 hours, if its as awesome as those games it will be worth it. Ill wait for the reviews first

It’s funny you say that. When I read the link above my first thought was, “It better be as good as Unchated 2 if it’s only 10 hours.”

Valid point. It would be nice if it had as high of a replay value as the uncharted games. Maybe it’s just me, but I replayed each atleast a few times. 2 and 3 also had pretty great multi-player as well though

I do not recall uncharted 3 being 10 hours personally.
