Interesting little plot: A diabetic kid begins to go into hypo shock and hallucinating that he’s in another world. It’s littered with aspects of the real world. The characters lacked a little development, which left you not caring all that much what happens… even to Joe, but I guess that’s the drawback w/ a miniseries. It can get a little sappy at points and a little childish, despite being for “mature readers” (I don’t see why).
Art: The art was pretty good. Any more cartoony/animeish would have been too much. Murphy is really good at drawing expansive landscapes and gets plenty of opportunities. There’s also all sorts of little easter eggs which makes it interesting without being over the top. The colors could have been a bit better, I think, but good enough.
Anyone get the new COD? I ordered it and it will be here this weekend. I’m digging the added mobility of the jet packs but I hope its enough to change the gameplay. Also did you guys see this comparison of GTA V graphics from ps3 to ps4. Its nuts, link is below.

Ya, I played it for a couple hours last night. It’s pretty good so far. The Jet packs definitely add a new element, but the core gameplay is the same. I haven’t been blown away though.
Shucks…only discovered this magnificent thread like 2 min ago. Anyway…any horror geeks out there getting pumped for an Evil Dead TV series starring the legendary Bruce Campbell? According to the article by GeekShizzle, Starz decided to move forward with the project that was announced by Sam Raimi at this year’s Comic-Con. There is a reason to live my good friends!
has anyone picked up Assassins Creed Unity for current gen (PS4/Xbone) systems?
Curious to hear what others think since its proven to inspire more rage than the Diablo III and Sim City launch combined and has made Ubisoft even more hated in the games industry than the Notorious EA.
Ive got my gripes but so far i have to say im liking it better than Black Flag.

Hard to top Black Flag in my opinion, it’s a fun game but it really doesn’t bring anything new. The story is also just completely gone astray, game has a lot of glitches and bugs but they said they were going to patch this. It also came out the same exact day as Assassins Creed Rogue which I don’t understand, I have no idea what the other game is about but seems strange they released two titles on the same day. I am still waiting patiently and getting hyped for Metal Gear Solid 5, also really curious about how Far Cry 4 might have turned out. Might have to pick that one up too if it lives up to the standard Far Cry 3 had set.

FC4 is getting great reviews, after im done with unity and GTAV ill be picking that up.
If it weren’t for the technical issues, inclusion of microtransactions, and all the content that is only available if you use the companion app or play online, i would say this is the funnest entry in the AC series since Brotherhood.
The city is fun to explore, the graphics are great when its running smooth, and the side quests are great, especially the murder mysteries. I thought Black Flag’s gameplay was a step down from the last gen games, and all the forced sailing just killed it for me. Still beat it, but probably wont ever go back for another play-through
I didn’t really dig it. It’s supposed to be an old school noirish spy book. The art was meh, the frames were kind of gimmicky, and I hated the plot… it seemed to go from “setting up” to conclusion with almost nothing in between. You didn’t get to know any characters aside from the main to care or expect any set behavior from them. You just know they’re a spy, so aren’t surprised be any “twist,” so you couldn’t really say it has any twists.
