That was my original point regarding Rumbachs posts. He began this thread by bashing everyone he could regarding the intoleration of gays.
It is unfortunate, but by beginning the thread this way he set the pace. Did he think that he would quell what he perceives as “bashing” by attacking others?

Wrong Rumbach! I value each human being as the unique individuals that they are! I do not take part in what you call “hate speech”. However, I do place a high value on freedom of expression. I would defend anyones right to express their views in a free society. Even someone like you that is apparently more filled with hate than any of the “hate mongers” that you picked a fight with.
You could not even get your most recent post across without name calling and character assasination. I am not your father. If I were you would have grown up with more tolerance for others views, and far less hate. And, I am not the “Bill O’Rielly of the forum”. While I do watch his show and enjoy the debate that he encourages.
I suggest that you swallow some of that venom that you so pompously spit at others! Stop viewing the world as “us vs them”. Which was a suggestion in my previous post to you.
Allow me to ask you a few questions. I am not sure if you feel you have achieved your ultimate goal regarding this thread:
Do you think that if you began the thread with a bit less militant fervor, you would have gotten your point across more accurately and received less of a backlash?
Do you think it is wise to go on the attack in any debate before hearing the other sides viewpoint?
Do you currently enjoy posting on this forum as much as you did prior to beginning this thread on November 12th?
In short, is this the way you wanted the thread to turn out?
My point being, I think you could have gotten your message across with a far less caustic approach. Perhaps that would not have inflamed the many participants of this thread, who have spoken out against you and homosexuals in general.
If your purpose is to begin a fight, then you did a good job. You should then be happy with your performance. However, I find it hard to believe that, that was your original intent.
Next time, make your point as eloquently as possible. Skip the attacks (your first post alone had three insults and two threats of violence in just a few paragraphs). And perhaps others will respond in kind.
If not you have lost nothing by taking the high road.

I think I just lost some IQ points reading this thread. It really seemed to polarize the posters here and bring out the worst in some people. It’s one thing to have an opinion or some values, but it’s another thing to be a total jerk about it and say horrible, mean things.
