Not my logic man. I wasn’t the one to coin hetero’s as “Straight”, but there it is. And the opposite of straight IS “Crooked”. I derived my theory from this fact.
Example of my theory:
When people are startled or shocked( or have a really intense orgasm, for that matter), they may say “Oh my God!” God has nothing to do with it. People don’t say that to offend, bash, or even praise God.
The way that people say “Oh my God” is the same way people say “That’s so gay”. It is just an evolution of speech. Most people don’t even make the mental connection between saying that, and thinking something derogotory.

If you look at how people use “gay” it is nearly always to describe something that is wimpy, weak, beneath real men, etc. That is because there is the thought that homosexuals are wimpy, weak, etc.
If someone told you to stop being a faggot, you would know exactly what they meant: stop being a wimp, be tough, etc. It is not used to mean bad in a general way, it is used to describe things that are bad because they are weak, wimpy, etc.

Unless you find yourself in a case of purebred gays (possibly an oxymoron, unless the gay guy mates with a real butch), the gay genes, if they exist are very much like any non-lethal and unnecessary genes: they wont kill you if you have them, and they wont stop you from earning your life and breeding. Hence the presence of gays in the past, present and future.
Therefore, that homophobic reaction is logical on an evolutionary basis. If we consider them as the ultimate bitches, the message behind homophobia, from a gene`s point of view is this:
Don`t come here and go mess up/dilute thy neighbouring genepool (and corresponding clean/pure gender identity specimens). Go mess it somewhere else.
