Do we have, in France, the same ice machine this guy is talking about ?

And why it’s only the vanilla flavor that is down ? And not thĆ© chocolate or strawberry ??

Not exactly the same, we have an Itialian one, but it’s very close to this.

One of our two machines has been broken for a year, and they haven’t replaced it because it costs like 60 000€ and they don’t need it right now with the lockdown and are greedy, so we only have vanilla ice cream.

The problem is that McDonalds have a crazy amount of customer. Our little kitchen, in summer has like 130 cars + the same orders in lobby per hour (5000€ worth of stuff in average) and you can only imagine the number of ice creams that we have to put out. We have to refill the milk, the machine in itself heats up because of the so many orders. So at some point you can’t serve because the mixture is too hot.

Or just plain use! So many ice creams, sometimes a little things gets off, a piece of the machinery gets stuck, and it takes HOURS to repair and all so it’s shut down for the day

Thanks for the explanation. In the video the guy tells that the main problem is that poeple fill too much the machine and that’s why the mixture is too hot

It could be yes… Honestly there’s always something breaking down there :joy:
