I’m a solo bencher all the time, so take this for what it’s worth… But when I go for my last max rep set I make sure that I don’t use the bar clips. Just incase I get pinned I can rock side to side and slide the weight off. I’m sure if I eer had to do it that it would be loud as hell and embarrassing but at least I’d be alive lol

This is one of the best upperbody days I have had in a while, I am still pumped from it. This style of training I am doing is what the gym owner explained to me. Upperbody is done 2 times a week, both days starting with bench, then progressing to back, and accessories if you have the time. 2 Lowerbody days a week starting with the squat, then doing the leg press and ghr, or hack squat and ghr, deadlift, etc. There is about 10 to 20 sets of the main lifts. On the main movements you have a target to work up to and you want to get 3x10 with that weight after the target you move onto higher weights preferably 2-3 more sets and try to set records. The goal is to eventually make your records turn into your 3x10 target, I am going to give this style of training as crazy as it sounds 6 months to a year. Long post lol got to read some shit now.

looks like a great workout and that training philosophy seems pretty solid. It would be awesome to turn your PR’s into your 3 x 10 target lol. that would be incredible! I look forward to reading your log the day you make that happen.

OK so been away for a while, I have been training, but it was more conditioning oriented…
Anyways here is yesterday’s training:

Conditioning:
Incline treadmill sprints 10 incline, 10 speed, 15 on 45 off for 20 min

I achieved some recomp goals and I am prepping for a pt test on the 1st of oct.
