Dixie- It is awesome it has been about a year since I have actually been in a gym.
Gregron- I was going to train with them yesterday but his son got there late and I was training chest and for some reason I was cramping up but maybe I will get to today
Ran 1 mile slow… it’s the only speed I have right now, then 15 incline treadmill sprints 15 sec on 45 off.
I am going to continue running 531 for a while and adding in more conditioning week by week. Time to stop being so fat!
I like your conditioning work. I did some treadmill sprints today as well… I’m going to be trying to steal some tips from your log since we’re pretty much the same and I’m shooting for the same weights that you hit

You are way better shape than me sir, I took my bulk to seriously lol. My conditioning is a far cry from what it used to be, Have you heard of Alpha on here? I followed his warrior athlete workouts for 2 months straight, and then just lost motivation lol. I want a physique similar to yours no homo.

Ok so I have been training at this new gym for a little over a week now and still haven’t trained with the father son team, and the more that I watch them train the less I want to. It is so much f’ing volume and they are in there for at least 2 to 2.5 hours every day, I am all about getting stronger and learning but 20 sets of bench press is a little much. I asked the guy if he could spot me occasionally and give me form advice and he has been doing that but I think for now that will be the extent of my relationship with them. Am I wrong for thinking this way?
^^I think at your stage (no offense) that sticking with 531 for a while will help you get stronger. I dont see the need for 20 sets of anything lol
unless you’re a top pro or something and you’re on some super chinese specialization hybrid ultra max secret russian cosmonaut training program and you’re working on getting the last 5lbs till you max out your genetic potential, I dont think thats necessary lol.

That’s what I was thinking just needed to hear it from someone else lol 531 is slow and steady progress and it’s easy.
Attempted to run hills immediately after, did 3 and decided it would be better to do them tomorrow lol

I am making a change in the way I train I am still sticking with the main lifts and percentages of 531 but my assistance work will be bodybuilder style.
